  1. I've started looking for the right shell to start with, I want to be able to do street sprints and a little track work, I'll be aiming mods at handling and I want to do a 4 link and watts/panard setup for sure. I think I want to be able to register it on the road so need to keep mods aimed around that. Im not sure I'll cage it, but thinking steel bubble arches and upgraded diff and yes 15's. Im not sure what rules/laws there are around chopping up chassis rails and keeping it street legal, this is why I was asking if you could do it with out having to notch them. Now that you have done it I was wondering how much clearance it has when the diff is at its highest point I'll do most of the work myself apart from the final panel and paint, I was an apprentice panel beater for 3 years so I got pretty good at rust repairs, just my finishing was never that good. It'll be a slow build, my last build was a 300hp wrx coupe that blew way out of control so I know how that goes.
  2. Wicked build, just started researching to do an escort build myself, Just wondering how nesassary and what your reasoning to make more clearance for the diff on the chassis rails? I like the ride height but do you think it could be done without modifying the rails?
