As discussed with Alex, Next meet will be Thursday the 22nd @ Rabbit island. As per usual Mot crew will meet at the clock tower, Nelson crew at WOW car park. 6pm
I have a 69 cortina wagon and a 68 Impala wagon and possibly a 71 volvo wagon confirmed to attend. working on a few others. Let's make this a good one... Tell ya mates, tell their mums even tell their dogs

Might not fit between the towers too easily...
Im dont know how much room there is but the 1GZ is a very compact engine, it's significantly narrower than a 1UZ.
Rough dimensions are 800mm from bellhousing to water neck(750mm to the front pulley), 700mm from sump to manifold top, 600mm from head to head.

what'd crapped out on it?
jealous of you being able to fettle with one of these hah.
It has no spark at all and he had said he went over a bump and died after that. Straight to the distributor which was located in the worst of positions possible.
Under the cap looked fine so I chucked it back on and off it went. I put it down to the rotor design with the spring steel tab on top of the rotor, Ive always had issues with that type
saw that h van pottering around marahau on new years day, fuckin lush
Yea its so great. nice guy too. He's based in Christchurch, told him he would get mucho respeto on here.

Damn. I start work on the 5th. How long are you up for?
-
Kevin would lose any fight, you have made him a sissy with his super soft pantene pro v fur.
I'm working on Daniel getting signed up. The fact that he turned up says that I'm making progress. I could just sit and look at his corolla forever

Turns out my car is no longer welcome at Speights ale house... Apparently they don't appreciate a v8 making clouds at stag do's. what weirdos!

I think I'll make this next meet at my secret location. BYO ladder /quote]
*fixed
Also I know this is extremely late to change the location but due to the current weather I think an indoor location would be best. Ideas anyone? -
No problem Alex. It was great to check out your land and soak up some rays.

My 2 cents...
Had a Mk4 golf with the same problem and found that the selector cables needed adjustment. Of course I adjusted it the wrong way and made it worse, adjusted it the other way and problem solved.
May be totally useless information but it may not .
