Takaka hill for me. Back in the rb army days my best time was 14m 20s from kaiteriteri turn off to upper takaka. I thought that was pretty good until my old man did it in 11m flat on his blackbird.

The first thing I did yesterday was rip out this round bed... that rotated.

I'm now left with all this space, since I am a tall bastard I will be cutting out the 50x25, starting from scratch and making a base with drawers to suit my super king mattress

Well Iv gone and done it... Iv brought a housebus to be cool like Alex and Hannah.

Its a ex Army, ex SBL 1986 Hino ranger rocking a EH700 6.4 Litre diesel

I get the impression the guy that started this conversion was doing a really good job but suddenly got the urge to finish it quickly/untidily.

The good thing about it is that I don't feel bad for pulling some it apart to modify it

How did it go over the hill?

I gave this a slightly spirited drive over the takaka hill yesterday and I can say the B20 engine has a surprising amount of grunt. The brakes do need a little attention but that wont be hard as its disc brakes all round!

I think external sunvisor, widen the steels it has on it and of course, Oldschool slam

I've seen a bent clutch plate cause exactly this issue. a mate of mine bent his trying to put a replacement box back in.
