    Anyone heard of/used Meiji guns?

Picked  one up today at the tip recycling shop. Saw 'Japan' and thought it seemed well made, and feels nice in the hand, prob better than the supercheap  ones I'm using now?  Has a 2.0mm tip , suction type with 1 litre cup so may be useful for primer? Really don't know if it's good or garbage but thought for $7 it was worth grabbing...

Searched for info on MC model but seems it's too old to feature on the website. Will see how it looks after a clean and maybe give it a go...

Yeah, good guns. Used to use them to spray the caskets back in the early 80,s.

  2. Yeah, not a bad day, good temperature for walking, talking and carting shit round. Had to do a few laps to convince myself to buy a pair of aftermarket 3 1/2 gallon fat bob tanks and a single Hustler mag to go on the wall though ? Not so much old bike and model A stuff anymore, must have run out finally. Did yabber to Highlux early on too, didja sell anything else ??

  3. When I first started working, we were selling and mixing Automotive paint. There was Dulon, Duco and Dulux spraying enamel. i don't remember mixing much Duco even back then in the late 70's. The Dulux rep told me it was being phased out then.

I have a boob calculator thing on a hard drive somewhere, drop down boxes for blower choice/pulley size/boost target etc.

I'll dig it out and upload it when I remember.

But actually yes repco used to sell them and I bet there are a few stores out there with them sitting out back on a shelf getting moved every stock take.  Hit up a repco and see if they have an old listing.  There used to be a catalog supplied by someone that had all thst sorta stuff,  including wild cat steering wheels etc.

Griffith Equipment probably have them still too.
