So. I have had for a while now my baby, 1986 Volvo 360GLT. A while ago I had plans of +T ing the old girl, then one day she developed a knock so out came the motor, and my build began. At first I was just gonna drop in a B200FT high pressure 2L turbo,figured if I'm gonna do it, might as well go to a 2.3 turbo, so started scavenging parts for that. A while later I came across a B234 dohc head.

So now I was going to build a 2.3 dohc turbo. As I started doing the wiring a mate of mine, came across a 1jz for his supra, and thus had a total of 4 spare sets of supra turbos off all his 1g motors. So I got to thinking.....

2.3L twin cam twin turbo 360.

From what I've seen she seems to be going good, but I really only deal with his mate Louis, as he still has a 360 I may be buying.

So it's been ages since I've updated this. In short the rust repair turned out shit, needs to be done again, but the turbo 360 is well underway. I've sourced me a block and head and correct sump, turbo, manifold, full wiring loom and computers, so yes, I brought a 940 turbo. Still hot to import some things like flywheel over the ditch, engine mounts in England, and then get it all bolted together and in. Wiring is half installed. Pics when I can!!

#cough# 2.3 turbo 360 almost finished #cough# building the engine, flywheels waiting in aus, custom mounts coming in from England, wiring is half done already, turbo is a 13g. At Op, didn't get it off a guy named will did you? He seems to have gotten rid of his volvo and gotten a hillman

I have already fixed a few things on her like the boot struts and the instrument cluster surround but other that that everything works

The only thing that didn't work was the coded tape player, with no code anywhere. So it already has a fold out DVD player, alarm this week if there's a spare one at work then maybe some cosmetic touch ups.

Sorry you did say you can't do photos. What brand and style torque wrench? Is it one of those bending bar ones? Old style? Or a newer adjustable one?
