  1. not a massive budget was kind of wanting something I didn't have to pay someone a lot to tune. But scince that kind of thing is not available I would be keen to pump maybe $1k into something that would be able to handle a mildly worked 4age. only thinking of doing proper cams and ITBs, so would it be better for me just to go for a standard black top ECU and ITBS, or ITBS and Megasquirt?

  2. Was just wondering if anybody was onto any decent performance chips for 16V 4AGE....

Wanting some extra gains for my redtop without forking out for a complete ECU?

Its fairly standard, apparently had the cams ground but unsure. Runs a MAP sensor, that's about it1403704_10202365275676928_1256944431_o.j

Thoughts and Information would be appreciated.

Heres a pic of the engine bay

  3. here are some pics of a standard ke2# diff and the T series diff im going to be replacing it with

the diff is out of an early corona that had leaf spring rear end. measures about 1370 long compared with the 1310 of the ke2#

will be getting this shortened so I can get a better offset wheel inside the guards

  4. Unsure of the 13's ya thinking of? Can you post a pic as I'm keen as for some ideas. Just keen for something jap. I was thinking 14" by 7 at front and 7.5 rear with low offset. The 13s I had on it made the sump sit pretty low to the ground so may have to change engine mounts to run 13s

  5. engine bay is now a lot tidier with, long custom alloy intake pipe with new filter, timing covers fitted, Gilmore drive fitted and general clean up. pics to be added soon.

T- series diff is about to be shortened to fit rear end and handle the grunt better, also changing the stud pattern to 4x114mm.

KE30 backing plates, hubs/rotors and callipers will be bolted in upfront to change stud pattern and also a small upgrade from 200mm rotors to 215mm - don't think ill notice the difference. but the T-series rear drums are pretty big. hope this doesn't get the rear pulling up to quick and locking up. unsure whether ill have to change master cylinder yet.

Wheels are up for sale and hoping to get some 14" genuine jap wheels and less offset to give the car a lower look and some dish

  7. That is good info thanks for that. Just thinking a small upgrade is all I need as I'm going to keep it n/a and don't intend on track use etc. just got a t series diff that I'm going to get shortened to fit and use the standard rear drums. Therefore rear will e 4x114.3 so probably try and use ke70 brake rotors n calipers. Are KP rotors and calipers and upgrade or much of an upgrade I mean? Or they the same as KE3#?

  8. Just looking for some info from anyone that has done these upgrades for any corolla ke2# or similar.

Looking for upgrades that will go along with my 4age repower.

hopefully parts that will be easy to frabricate to fit if not be able to bolt up.

thanks any info will be greatly appreciated.
