I think s2 & 3 are best, then 1, then batmans, then 5 then 4.

Looks like sheepers has traded his Mustang in on another Ford, good to see he is still working on the Crown though

Ok mr pedantic , or my 302w with 5 speed from a ford falcon
-
Get a holden or ford v8. I get 11L per 100km with my 96 falc
haha, my 12a got a shit load better mpg than my v8s. Around town in the Lincoln I get 1km per $. I dailed the rx2 as well and it was all good. Got just a tad worse with 13b bp and Ida but didn't build that for economy

Does anyone know if you can get electromagnetic ac clutchs rebuilt in NZ?
I can send it to the US but shipping is a pain
thanks

A Continental in white, weird. Fucking cool mind you.
Any reason weird? Or that that just own in tri-black?
-
Cool car, where in NZ will you live?
that will be an awesome drag car to be at our strips

Yep good fan shrouds are like hens teeth. Hence why I fixed mine also.
any reason on electric fan, most time I hear they aren't as good as the engine driven with a good clutch.
love my vacuum locks, as the all drop one after the other.
you've done a sweet job on the Buick. Was the dash a mission and heavy bitch to get out. I got stuck under mine when it dropped on me. Had to call for help, haha

Had to do the hardened grease cleanup on my seats too. Don't think any old yank tank gets away with it. Cool mechanisms though for old school engineering. No wonder the cars are heavy.
I see your fan shroud is split too, another common yank issue. I used some fancy airplane 2 pot rain to fix mine. Holds sweet just have to clean up the excess.
does the Buick have much vacuum operated stuff? I have vacuum climate control, power locks, cruise control etc. mission to sort as all the lines are perished.
also in the process of rebuilding relays

Such a cool car

Yep turbo manual s40. would love to get $6k for it
-
not really an attitude on my part, I did buy it this way (and not when it was cheap). It would be a lot more fun if rwd thoughpretty much the NZ attitude which makes so many lush cars cheaper than they need to be = win if you're not constant boner for FWD
I would recommend it and that s60 nigewade posted is sweet

Snapper - http://skandix.de/en/ - good for Saab parts too.
V8pete - my Volvo is 200hp stock with plenty of room for improvement. Handles really well as the S40 was a joint ventureon the chassis with mitsi evo3. Only issue is fwd.

Volvo parts just get in from skandix in Germany.they work with you on shipping and are cheap. I.e pressure cap for radiator reservoir $65 in NZ, 9 euro from skandix.
Volvos go so well and are definitely sleepers. Also for the money you get a hell of a lot of car
