I managed to get to one of the Hampton Downs rounds last season and it was ridiculously fun. Will definitely be giving it another go this season

There's a decent spot behind the mall in New Lynn called Alien Vinyl, pretty much between the RSA and the Mag and Turbo building

Should look good once it's painted and fitted

Seriously crap photos but removed the saggy roof lining to get freshened up
Saggy
Removed
Will pick up the re-covered roof lining on Saturday.

Won't be making this one, but here are some pics from last week

Nose-to-tail remedied, and now the boot works properly again
Next to sort out the drivers guard and roof, buy a trailer light connecter/wires and fit them, then look into tinting the windows and lowering it a pinch
-
Yep will most likely do the Saturday

fiddly buggers to fit, but now at least I have one key for both doors (opposed to 1 key for drivers door and no key for passengers)

ah gotcha, always thought it was the third Wed.
Stink, missing this one then

I thought this would be on the 15th?

Great day out, and some beautiful machines on display As suspected I slept through my alarm but still managed to get there on time.
The Tairua School Wine and Food Festival was decent too
Would have loved to have taken the Chevette, but no WOF and a million+ cars pulled over the day before meant the Piazza had a good run. Awesome roads on the way there
-
Yep, assuming I don't slap my alarm in my sleep.
5:00am at BP Drury?
Edit: just went back a page and saw it's leaving Drury 5am

A couple shots of the "control pods"
Air con, lights, heater, wipers, dash brightness controls (and cruise control in other models) all within fingers reach
Unfortunately in my case some of the plastic switches have snapped off, I've got a couple of them just have to figure out how best to reattach them.

Bored with a couple cans of vinyl/upholstery dye

Santa gave me a nose to tail for Xmas!
Really minor, but the douche who hit the back of me is dragging the chain in getting it fixed
-
Yeah that's the one, just noticed that the classified listing has expired... hopefully it pops back up.
No, unfortunately no spare plates here but you might find some joy on the GM-T forums
Havent seen one with an A12/A15 but I can imagine it would go well.
There was a sedan for sale in Hamilton a while back for pretty cheap with a Reco'd motor

Cheers mate, those Viva wagons are cool but rare as hen's teeth.
If you're interested in a Chevette wagon, there's a rolling shell I've been eyeing up on trademe, and a mate of mine has a 12A sitting in a shed. He's getting married soon so whould be keen to get some extra cash in.
I can't realistically do the project myself for a while. Could be the Rotorvette Estate for you

4th sounds most achievable.

They have tyres, but I have no idea how old the rubber is
