Only while turning corners, never did before I had diff rebuilt? But yeah..

Just had my diff head rebuilt.. Put it in, new oils, got car on ground nd went to turn it to move it over in my shed nd it started making a quiet ticking noise.. Didn't do it before I'm pretty sure but yeah read abit online saying lsds tick but just wana be sure. Let me know what you think??

chea fresh new rebuild diff, new bearings, seals etc. looks the part. carbs away getting fixed by the guy that tuned it. will be good to see how it ends up otherwise going ida ild say. finishd product

well.. drove into town for a tune. got it all tuned while I was at work and the tuner was test driving and the diff decided to lock up on him and wouldn't budge. had to get all the bros to help me out, dragged it with my ute to his workshop leaving two black marks the whole way. then decided to trailor it back to mine since the work was 'done'.. ripped the car onto trailor with winch and lifting somehow with the bros helping out. took about 30-60mins.. then got it home took about the same to get it off. biggest mish ever. pulld diff to see that pinion bearing had shat itself. upon taking the diff apart we found this.. good old b1600 lsd. luckily only bearings need to be done. then.. the guy that tuned it stripped one of my threads for the jet so petrol leaks like crazy outa the carb. woo and it makes some rattle noise when I turn it off??? any idea hit it in the discussion. I now need anyone to help me out with the torque setting for b1600 lsd if anyone knows a site where to find them that would be mint! box of beers later and bearing and my diff should be done!! chur

parts arrived, new plugs, new hubs as old ones were well below the min wear. been driving but as soon as I get into the secondary's (nikki 4 barrel carb) it starts sorta detonating? thinking too much or too less fuel?? if anyone knows anything hit me up in pm. pic of new hubs another pic after a lil drive now I need to get some springs made up for the back/shorten bumpstops, handbrake cable made up and possibly a tune then wof time hopefully haha

new lights as old ones frittered out indicators all the time sussd a rx3 wheel need a horn button if anyone knows of one. pic after a quick wash n new lights in.. engine bay pic (thought I put one up last post) needs a clean nd a respray oneday. bigger update later in week when parts arrive!

Mr west - Yeah same, was tempted to buy it with engine but it still had abit of work to be done so I'm gona get it on the road then get a 13bt block to build up I'm thinking.. Cheers man, yeah lensos are growing on me, didn't like them too much when I brought it haha. Yeah got a mate who's a machinist, he's gona sort it all out for me and he can make up custom studs or anything to make it work. Will keep updated, not much left to do but bigger plans for the future if I don't get a rx2/3.. Yeah tell me about it prices are sky high haha

well for a start the escorts are gone nd sold off all the parts I had. moved onto smaller nd better things.. since the escort left I ended up getting a 323 wagon.. that I then sold off the rims nd started going nuts at throwing money at wags, then found a lil hatch rolling body on trademe for a fairish price.. told the guy ild come down nd check it out nd bring the trailor 'just incase'... ended up coming home with da boys cholo n padg balln all the way from Hamilton with a tang on the trailor nd mr cholos new bike on the ute from there engine got ripped out of wagon.. wagon went on tard rolling body. think its sold now (pending payment) engine got thrown into hatchy, everything got fixed that needed it plus more as you do. abit of money later I am up to here will bomb more pics as I progress.. doing front stud conversion atm. then handbrake cable to suit the bluebird discs on rear. then wof/reg time love n hate welcome discuss here. //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/39787-hulses-323-hatch/

Was pulling peices outa my car and notices that theres a wire going to nothing. Comes out with the water temp nd alternator plug. Not sure if its ment to be going into the alternator or what?? Any ideas or pictures of where it goes would be great! Cheers, Josh.

Decided on the weekend I'ld rock up to the guys house I brought my escort off and ask for some pics, his little bro ended up sending me the pics when it was on trademe..
