This place seems like the internet-nexus for 60/70-series crowns, and I would love to see if someone can help me with my problem.
I currently have three Crowns - two MS65's and an MS75. I'm doing a cheap-ish rebuild on one of my 4M's simply to get one of the cars running and have encountered a weird problem.
This is what my current pistons look like. Note they are raised, not flat.
Finding replacements for the 4M is not a walk in the park, especially not in North America. Nothing is simple. Look at the two standard size piston options I have:

Great looking TRW's with rings... but they are flat tops, with a valve relief I don't need.

I've googled far and wide, and as you might imagine, there isn't a whole lot of 4M information or pictures out there. I have found ONE reference to 4M's with different compression ratios, here in an old build thread:

I'm tempted to go with the TRW's because they are cheaper, "look" better, and include rings... and I'll just deal with what will certainly be a decrease in power relative to whatever stock was 40 years ago. However, it's not like the 4M has much power to spare. The crappy castings on the set with the raised domes are making me wary.
