  1. Have you tryed a re learn on the tps. Hand brake on warm engine turn engine off.

    Push foot flat to the floor turn ignition on (dont start) hold for 60 sec.

    Release pedal and dont touch.

    Start engine put in drive and idle for 60 seconds.

    Turn off engine while still in gear place in park and restart engine.

  2. Looks to be a Goss universial (was on the car when I bought it) which is meant to flow up to 110L per hour, it's mounted in the engine bay, about a metre of 8 mm fuel line to the carb. 

     

    I'm going to throw on a new fuel filter to eliminate something cheap and then will take a look at the needle after that.

    try moving the pump to the back most electric pumps are a push pump so they are designed for pressure not vacuum had the same on a customers hq with 350 run out of fuel at full throttle moved the pump to the back solved

  3. In short no but can be made to work. The escort has rack and pinion steering and is mounted forward of the crossmember  and cortina has steering box on the rear.

    You can fit a complete escort crossmember  with a few modifications but will need to change steering column brake lines engine sump adjustable bottom arms and sway bar so bit of a ,major better off finding a full mk2 cortina disc brake front they are a bit hard to get but will cost you less in the end.

     

     

    (sorry thought you were upgrading from drums to discs so as above)
