Put the wheels on the car, still need to put the front coilovers in so it's quite high at the front. Will also likely run 25mm spacers.
And my Redhorse braid fittings also turned up

Got tyres on the Devils, 195/45/15 Toyo T1Rs. Coolest wheel I've ever seen in person (maybe biased) just waiting for a chance to try them out

I shall do this. I was wanting to get something a little different to the standard silver bolts and can get a good price on bolts from WORK (blasphemy).

Hey all,
I've got a set of XR4 longchamps I'm restoring and they're in need of new assembly bolts.
Does anyone know what size bolts are needed for this?

Best investment of my life

And she's gone! I'm thinking that I can have the car running by the time I get it back. There's actually a lot less to do than I thought. I have ordered a heap of red horse braid and fittings which should be here next week and the cars off getting a Link G4 Storm wired up.
Also, oil cap was the best investment (cost a stupid amount of money, #trdtax)! Looks amazing (personal opinion)
Also purchased a Megan Racing M-DT muffler so will get the exhaust made up soon.

Disregard, found the legislation.
Only needs a washer system if it was manufactured after 1 January 1992. A car manufactured before 1 January 1992 doesn't require a washer system and the factory system can be removed.

Hey all,
Does anyone know if having a washer bottler and wipers is a WOF issue?
I read that if its pre 1991 then it only needs wipers and if its post 1991 it must have wipers and sprayers.
Does anyone know how accurate that is?

Ok, so I'm ready to get this thing going!
I'm buying my Link and getting it wired up in the next week or 2 but I also need to sort the fueling.
Does anyone have any suggestions for fuel pumps etc?

Hey all, not sure if I've asked this already or not but...
I'm wanting to convert my AE70 from cable to hydraulic clutch. I know a AE71 is a direct bolt in and TE71 can fit as well but I've also read that it depends on whether they came from a steering rack or box. They also appear to sell for stupid money.
The other option I've seen is people modifying the factory pedal box to work with the hydraulic set up.
Has anyone done this/know how to do this? Is it legal to do or certifiable?
If you know how, would you be interested in doing it on mine for cash/beer/both?
Cheers.

A company in Aussie was making them for a while but I have a feeling they may have shut down now.

Got the car back today, so stoked with how it all came out! I've also put in the rear suspension, will get some decent photos of that when i can, but in the mean time...

Watched a guy from Dave Ward (not sure if it was Dave) try and pull my mates WRX on the truck on and angle and almost fucked his Equips, just seems a little rough and just wanted to get the job done quickly rather than taking a bit of care.
Got it sorted anyway but thanks for suggestions.

He's all bark no bite!

Excellent, called Dion, $75 to get the car from Taita to Porirua, cheaper than hiring the trailer. Cheers for the help.

Pretty sure that's the guy I was told about, will give him a call

My AE70.
Yeah I know who you're talking about Shaz, I've asked for his number.

Hey,
I need to get my car from Frost Motorsport in Lower Hutt back to my lock up in Porirua sometime in the near future.
I took it out there on a hired trailer which was a fair amount of hassle by the time I had picked it up and dropped it off and didn't really save any money by the time I paid for diesel and the hire of the trailer.
Can anyone suggest a good company to get it towed by/does anyone have a car and trailer and wants to make some $$$?
Cheers.

That's pretty much what I told him... Although, in theory if they're done right should perform as good as they look.
-
Yet to see how well they actually perform, it'll be interesting to see what sort of power figure I get with these on.
Give Steve an email, he's keen to do some more.
