Once it get it reg and wof again il go see what I can get matched up, then will start to prep the body. I'm probably going to go with superlows in mine. My step dads got a Triumph TR6, with the 2.5 litre engine. Il try chuck up some pics of that. Hes got some cool wire wheels on that, going to try see if he will let me try them on haha It looks much like this one

Got some new 13x7 superlites 0 offset for my car, however sits out to far, about 4 cm from guard. Not to confident on cutting the old guards out for flares though. Can anyone in Chch do it?

Got it running today, runs mint for a bike thats been parked up since forever. 50 years old now, shes done well. Painted the tank, now to start on the body itself.

I got told my a mechanic to fill the radiator?

So iv started to prepare the engine to go back together, just gotta buy the torque wrench. I put the bolts on finger tight and filled up the radiator. It started to leak out the side of the head and the water started to fill up on top of the pistons. Once the head is fully torqued on this wont happen aye?

Sweet as, thanks Pretty sure nothing skimmed off, ahhh the pistons seem to have a flat top?

This is probably been asked on here before. I have a 4k block and looking to put on a 3k head. I got the head but told it may not work and that I got to use a 3kb head? Has anyone put a 3k head on 4k block and had issues before? Thanks

Thanks for your help guys, what Josh (fliboi) said pretty much. Sussed out that the B6S should ideally be the right size. Hopefully getting it wired up next few weeks and ideally should be on the road! Can't wait. Anybody ever seen one of these bikes the same before? keen to how many there are in the country. cubastreet- The paint looks alot better in the photos is peeling and really rough in person.

This is my Suzuki Ma50, also called a Suzuki Selpet. Bought it earlier on in the year, a friend of mine (fliboi) has rebuilt the engine for me - just needs to get wired up. I am unsure of what colour to paint it as of yet. I am looking at maybe going red? I am actually having trouble finding out what spark plug I need, does anyone know? Found one but the thread is too long - would it still work if we used washers or similar to space it up? Does anyone know anyone who has one of these? Would be keen to find out how many of the same bikes are out there. I will get some better photos on the weekend of it.

Hey, I am in the process of lowering my starlet on some cobra superlows. I have been told AE86 and MR2 inserts work mint, I tried both front and rear mr2 inserts (aw11) and they were rattling round something wicked. Any others ideas? or anyone in Chch shorten my shocks for me? Thanks

Hey man, nice car! Iv got one similar, I am lowering it on Cobra Superlows - got the ke70 shocks in the rear but looking for shorter inserts for the front, do you know what works? Thanks

Thank you for your words of wisdom. I wasn't too keen on lowering it cause it seems quite cliche to do so. I will definitely need either new shocks/springs/tyres, because whenever I go over bumps in the road, the tyres scrape. Thoughts on any particular engine for the car? Cheers.
