  1. \ The frame is looking pretty mint, going to start putting it all back together over the upcoming evenings / weeks. Was going to sell it to put the funds towards a house deposit, but it looks so mint I might have to keep it. For some reason my previous photos on this post are not showing up. Here is a photo from when I first got it Been working on the engine over the last few months when possible, the wiring has been the hardest part. It runs, and it runs alright but the battery wont recharge. Will look into this and see what we can do. Photo of my two bikes together
  2. Made progress in recent weeks, stripped the full bike back and its being prepared to undertake full restoration. Got some blue paint, so it will remain a similar blue. Will be finishing the C90 first, then finishing the MA50. Will maybe sell the MA50 once its back together. Will update photos tomorrow

    C90 Project

Just bought my new Honda C90 project from my mate Josh AKA FLIBOI Made a few mods, personalized it a bit and a few wee repairs and mods and it will be good to go Still got my MA50 project currently in bits for the full repaint and rebuild
  4. Brand New battery mate, just needs wiring up. No info on these bikes sadly as only one other in NZ which is on display at Boyle Kawasaki. It is for sale now as I bought a new bike!
  5. So after trying to get the charging system right in my MA50 nothing is really working well. An engine transplant is being considered. Does anyone know what engine will easily bolt up? It currently has a 2 stroke engine, so the space for a new engine is not huge. Will get current engine dimensions so can see what we can fit up. Had the bike for over a year now and haven't had it out for a ride, so really keen to get something bolted up. If you could please let me know what I can do, that would be awesome!! Cheers Jack
  6. Just another vehicle to add to Joshes collection of sweet rides.

  8. Bike starts stronger now, still having charging issues. Emailed boyle kawasaki with no reply. Is it worth giving them a ring?

    4k wont start

Hey guys, just done a full rebuild on my 4k. Had it running mint got a warrant and on the way home it died, it had the typical symptoms of a flat battery. Charged battery, no change. The coil was the only thing I had not replaced so I bought a new one. Cars got spark and fuel and timing is good (i've been told) however still it wont start. The starter motor is turning the engine over, but it wont fire into life. Had 3 people round and still can't work it out. Any ideas?
  15. I can personally say this car is wicked, went in it the other night and was amazed at the power this little beast has. I think the colour burnt orange would look mint, and different. Better than something basic and bland.
  16. failed wof on "breaks to be balanced" is this an easy task or where can I pay someone to do it?

  18. In the meantime however guys, Wayne will still be doing Warrants and Green and Pink stickers along with rust repair work. If you do wish to donate to Waynes trust fund to help fund the case against NZTA you can simply make an online payment by credit card by clicking on the following link: http://www.laneneave.co.nz/index.php?Action=payments Alternatively, email: email@laneneave.co.nz and you will be sent a remittance slip from which payment can be made. Please ensure that you include the reference/description: Wayne Martin – MAR100191. More info on FB page, or flick Nicole or myself a PM the more awareness and support the better. Cheers Jack Thompson
  19. Hundreds of people have RSVP'ed and thousands invited! I think it will be a good turnout. The amount of support Wayne has is awesome and shows how much of a top bloke he is. If he was like NZTA are making him out to be he would not have all this support, if Wayne was at fault he would not being fighting in court. Will be good to get as many supporters as possible. Cheers
  20. Nigerian hahaha, good point there to be honest. LTSA what ever they are now called have done this, the guy is an ex cop as it says above and he has a personal disliking for Wayne, and now is getting him back through his business. Over 20 years Wayne has been doing cert, and has only been found at fault 5 times! and that's not recently Wayne has no control over people re-modding cars. Pretty much I posted Nicoles event on here so people can support Wayne, its probs best to flick onto that Facebook page theres more info up there - or the discussion on the Off topic page as I will update info onto that thread as Nicole passes to me. That Facebook page has the full yarn on it, I will do something after work and post it on here if you'd like. Cheers
