So stopped at repco on the way home picked up some GV(Great Value haha)20w50 listed for old and diesel engines. and a can of lifter clean. got home put in oil and can of lifter clean, started it and still there not as bad but there. jumped in and took it for a run. gove it death got back noise gone. problem solved. thanks for your guys help.

I have Just got a 2nd hand 5K ( been sitting for a few years possibly)and fitted it. had a small tappet type noise on start up. idiled for awhile no probs. took it for a drive then it started making a horrendous chattering type noise for the head area. got it home(not far maybe 500m) and turned it off. took the rocker cover think tappets then found out it has hydraulic lifter. anyone had this issue?? any ideas on the fix??

haha currently what i do. i know rufly what speedo reading i should be around. just wanting to know if its a easy fix.

anyone have any idea about fixing speedo outages? i have a ke36 with a ke35 sr coupe rev dash and a ke70 5speed. speedo is about 20% out doing 50 reads 60ish, doing 60 reads 80ish. any help much apreciated.
