That was a another big turnout, those couple of cars doing skids up the road are going to get everyone in trouble eventually though..

I guess the name would apply to the TS4 prototype, of which the only running prototype lives in Auckland in a converted electric trolley bus of all places.

Not much beats the sound of a Scania 14L V8 (or a Mack V8 which are almost the same engine)

I'm sure I can get one of my cars going by then...

That seems fairly cheap? If its cert'd then does that mean it can be made road legal?

It used to be certed and road legal with that engine, not sure what has changed since though.

Probably needs some of the interior added back too I would imagine, if I had enough time I would swap a complete interior in from my spare car and get it back on the road (but not much chance of me every doing that).

It ran when parked, not sure if any parts have been stolen from it since though.

We were going to put the drivetrain into the van in front but ran out of time and interest.

First car I remember being in control of was a Mitsubishi Delica Star Wagon (the big 4x4 one), could just reach the pedals.

(we bought it used, suspect it lived on the beach as it quickly rusted out, we still have it though)

I didn't even get through all the cars on Sunday, they said there were over 1,100.

I took the Volvo 240, didn't really compare to what was there though...

There are still NZ new RHD Chevs floating around, converting something over would be a huge job...

I'm already onto it, I have known the owner for years and it is very very unlikely he will sell anything to strangers.

There is still some good stuff amongst the scrap that I will do my best to save though...

He is also very unhappy that this made the news in the first place....

That judging is only a tiny part of the event really, its mostly just a big car display.

I was there in the Heron, too busy looking at stuff to take photos though..

I just sold the last Mack MC and I already purchased another...

I didn't realise the car had 8 speakers in it until I put the stereo in, a little overkill considering how small it is.

Good quality NZ wiring too (not really to sure what this was supposed to do, wires head up towards the wiper motor)...
