Guest clown_dog
Hi all, Just got this Fiat Panda in the weekend as a daily light run around. I'm posting because if anyone in New Zealand knows good connections for parts / wrecking it's you guys. Put $40 in the other day from empty, almost put it up to full! So will see how many k's I can get for it! <a href="http://s1235.photobu...58b42.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1235.photobu...ps3b058b42.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo EngineBay_zps3b058b42.jpg"/></a> At the moment, just wanting suggestions for who to go to for parts... They aren't as common as the Uno, and although some of the running gear is interchangeable a lot of it isn't. Cheers, Isaac
clown_dog
I haven't checked in for awhile. This is a while ago now, but the shocks were pretty tired when I bought it. So I made some friends in Italy and managed to get some Bilstein shocks in. More recently I managed to stumble across some new shoes. With the Fiat being 4x98, there isn't much out there. So I had to make it work. Bit wide really, but oh well. It's fun. Put some tyres on. Rolled some guards And it pokes a lot. I know I should probably lower it. But I don't want to for now. Having one slammed car is enough. Nice having a raised daily driver. Future plans include going two tone like the original Mk1 Pandas. That's all for now.
clown_dog
Whoops realised I didn't start up a discussion thread. Here it is. //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/48111-clown-dogs-1989-fiat-panda-mkii-1000s-discussion/
clown_dog
I asked Gulf to sponsor me stickers for the Leadfoot Vintage racing festival. They said yes!!! So I got onto making a stripe and some numbers. Used string to make sure the stripe is straight. First time dealing with large decals. Was fun! Had to do the centre caps too Result It got a fair few comments. I love the look for now.
