I'm Mike and I've recently moved to Lower Hutt from Christchurch, so after being prompted on facebook, I thought it was time to make a build thread on here. CHEESE
I had been painting her back in christchurch, with a borrowed compressor. So she will just stay half painted for now. Now that I'm up here, the plan for the year is to assemble with all the parts I have, get cert and get her back on the road. Its probably been abour 7 or so years now since her last warrent... I'm not interested in going real low or real fast, but I am super interested in handling, with that in mind, here are some of the parts I have to install before cert. My old Godfather horn Some bigger front discs and calipers (Continued in next post)
CHEESE
New Parts shop Max s13 front knuckles, which I had powder coated black to make them.. less flashy I guess. Fully adjustable STD s13 coilovers with Cusco 910 front camber top plates And im sure there are one or two things I haven't taken photos of. Like Hippo bucket seat. Big s13 front sway bar, also I have the numberplate RZNSUN which will likely make its way onto this car Cheers!
CHEESE
Yea Im slow Current plan is on the road by Late October, but I've never met a deadline in the past. I have been working away on it though. Changed to lower profile front tires, to help with clearance took the rear coilover bases to Polytech and milled the bush down to the correct size Started work on a new front bump stop timmed the edge of the LCA because it rubbed at full bump at full lock had new bearing pressed into my front hubs Its been nice making progress
