4age
So i'm a uni student in Wellington who owns a motorcycle, but the time came where i needed to purchase a vehicle for rainy days and getting the groceries. I stumbled across this gem around 7 months ago on trademe, and she called to me ha. Was purchased off a couple who bought it for their daughter, who decided she wanted an auto. They only owned it for a few months. Prior to them it was owned by an old couple who owned for 22 years and was sold in their estate sale. This is the day i bought it: Bought it with a hunting idle and the wastegate was seized shut. So was hitting boost cut. Nothing some crc and fiddling couldn't fix. Hunting idle i suspect is a vac leak. More pics of when i first got it: Digital dash is hilarious fun. Boost gauge works which is apparently a rarity. I'm like 6foot so look like a giant driving it ha.
4age
Has removable sunroof with a pop up wind deflector thing. Also purchased a momo wheel and boss kit. Partly for extra knee clearance and party because its cool. Only pic i have with it on: Also have a small boost gauge tucked under for when i was looking into the boost cut. Easily removable, only double sided tape holding it on.

4age
Then purchased a set of rays' 4/5's. 14's. Can't decide if they look to big or not. Tyres that came on them are too mahoosive to use so will be getting new ones. But will be an upgrade from the 155's on it at the mo. Pic with them on to test rubbage. 4age
Rear side trims were painted in bumper black, so were front and rear light surrounds and rear bumper. Makes it look a million times better. Don't have any decent pics. Red trim/detail/pinstripey thing around the car removed. May be replaced later with new turbo stickers. Wheels prepped awaiting colour and tyres. Also: Fiddling around with trying to get an intercooler to fit as these had none from factory.

Bled brakes. Got front foglights working.

4age
So i spent friday replacing a headlight for wof. One headlight took a regular h4 bulb, but the other was one of those weird sealed unit jobbies. Also, new front brake pads. New rear drum cylinders and shoes. Cylinder on one side was leaking so just replaced both for peace of mind. Welded up an exhaust leak too. Borrowed my fathers friends hoist at his workshop. God it made life so much easier having everything at eye level and stuff. I LOVE AIRTOOLS. So hopefully will pass wof tomorrow.
