Cheers Gaz, yea the willwood pedalbox is a little out of my budget range low'n'slow, thanks though. On ya Raizer that'l save me hours of head scratching! If anyone has second hand girling style master cylinders lying around gimme a shout, I'm yet to work out what bores I need but fairly sure the fronts I'll use .625 (picked up volvo 4 pots today $30!!) and .7 or .75 on the rear? Depends what calipers I go for I guess

On a different note, suspension question; I'm going to run around 200lb front coils lowered 2 inches, if I were to buy new leafs for the back what rate/format should I go for with 2 inch drop? What is stock rear leaf rate?

Gaz, yea that's probably the easiest/cheapest option, thanks. The only reason is I want to know if theres an optimum ratio between front a rear suspension stiffness for escorts running primarily tarmac, or maybe a maximum rate at the rear. Because if I were to have a leaf added then reset, all I know is that the springs are slightly more stiff than before rather than when I buy one with the rate specified. Maybe I'm over complicating the issue haha

builds looking sick bro!! ive looked into the volvo and e30 disc swap into my mk2. looks like quite an easy mod. only requiring redrilling and slight machining on the discs. do your calipers have the 2 inlets? will be good to see how the brakes go for you! good luck on the build!

Yea the calipers have the 2 inlets, unfortunately they arent the calipers to take vented disks so I'm looking to make my own spacing kit. Cheers man!!

Nice work! I'm tempted to go SR20 as well, but resisting unitl she is race and road legal. Too many other things to spend money on!

I put BMW M3 ally radiator from Fenix into mine. Nice big rad and cheap price. Needed to notch one corner a little to fit between the chassis raills.

Also went Maxda RX7 series 4 ally 4 pot for my front brakes. Can send dxf file for laser cut plate adapter for the mounts if that helps.

M_C what beamer was the radiator from e36 e46? Yea looked into the rx7 conversion but i came to the conclusion that theyr slightly too big to fit into 14" wheels. So dont worry about the file or the calipers J-W-G, thanks though.

Good thing to know definatly, the spring shop that resets them should be able to measure spring rate I would imagine.

Not sure what BMW the rad was speced for. My Fenix catalogue got handed on through the car boys.

Receipt lists is as their part RACE1180A, $300 inc GST, Fenix 0800 757 333 They were pretty helpful and good buggers. Not sure how sharp the price is, but I was happy with it.

Builds looking good man! bet it'll be fun to drive when your finished :)

I'm just sussing out my brakes atm too. Ended up getting wilwood 4 pots for the front, thinking r32 2 pots for the rear as well. Not too sure, you chose what brakes your gonna run with?

Thanks man yea hopefully! I havn't decided yet, but I talked to the guy certing my car and he said the best bet is to buy a set of calipers that were designed to go together, or if different calipers are used, calculate the output pressures using the bores of master cylinders/calipers and match the ratio to whatever you'r after (even with a bias pedal box he said). So at the moment I need to do a little maths to find around about the right caliper cylinder bore before I go out and fit something I cant tune to work properly or get cert'd :/
