Mikewazowski Posted March 10, 2011 Share Posted March 10, 2011 Hi team, Desperately trying to get my mate's Altezza ready for a blat around the track this weekend. It has a beams 3SGE which is turbocharged (low comp, aftermarket ECU, etc) and was tuned about a week or so ago. It has developed a miss (feels almost like hitting the limiter) when transitioning from off boost to on boost. It doesn't seem to happen every time boost comes on, and apparently it can happen when the engine is cold or hot. It idles/cruises fine and once on boost it appears to run fine. It runs a MAF sensor when off boost and the switches to a MAP sensor when boost comes in...we're wondering if this could be the source of the problem? Has anybody had a problem like this before?
