  1. oh sweet, if i cant get it to work il get some info off you to build the circuit, ill let you know..

There is a link to the circuit in my post above, has a parts list to for your trip to Jaycar.

  2. Looks pretty nice on the 15" Rota's, keen to see it on the RB's

I've always liked them on the 16" Widebody Starion OEM wheels.

1JZGTE still has way more potential for power though.... Got the LSD from Aaron (Rabid Chimp) of CelicaSupra.com.

Yeah, but if I didn't have all that glorious *GTE power, I wouldn't have spent a fortune on driveline, brake and chassis upgrades...

and most likely have a nice comfortable cruiser, not an anti-social savage beast.

  3. Radiator is all welded up and inlet plumbing fits well, onto the outlet next.

Intercooler inlet mods are all tacked in to checking, needs a minor tweak with a BFH or similar, bit pretty darn close.

Outlet to the throttle body also fitted up nicely.

Just waiting on a oil cooler (OEM) delete fitting to arrive from Oz and I can start one the new cooler & thermostat and plumbing...

  4. Nice thread - almost nostalgic.

When I was in high school I used to ride (a not so legal) IT200 around on the road and 'go places' and do lots of wheelies, and I generally stunk like a very oil rag.

    Last bike I had was 2001 RM250 - was a mental machine.

Don't think I ever got use / comfortable on it in the year I had it.

But the suspension on it was to die for.

[/off to trade me for some sweet dreams]

  5. Like the budget turbo idea, and the Holsets' are nice and cheap (even new like the one I got).

The HX40's are reasonably common here in NZ (HX35's weren't on anything new here) so keep an eye out for them also.

You won't be able to use any that are internally gated, as they are usually far too small, and only by-pass one of the scrolls on a twin-scroll T-hsg (from memory).

I got mine with a non-WG'd 12cm housing, you could probably go a bit bigger (14 or 16cm) with 3.0l and N/A-esque compression ratios without creating a lag-monster.

Not sure what the engine bay looks like on H6, but with one centrally mounted across the back (firewall), a nice pair of 'headers' from each bank, feeding each scroll, with a pair of 38mm external gates at the collectors, and a 3-3.5" down-pipe to the passenger side would be pretty drool worthy.

Another one to look at (if getting something from the US) is a Holset HE351VE with the VNT actuator, be a bit of fun if you have any spare PWM outputs on the LINK....

(turn on your bullsh!t filter and have a flick through this)

  6. Mad MSPaint skilz there!!

Stick wheels on one end and push it onto the site.

Looks like from the pic below, going through the shed/garage with a temp ramp will come out at a good level with easy access from the street / main road.

Just have to sacrifice the shed & rebuild *bugger*

  7. Have you thought about pulling the roof/lintel off the garage and temporarily filling it at a ramp onto the site?

Feed the container straight in / onto the site with somthing like an excavator / frontend loader at each end to handle the height / grade change etc...

Sure, will still cost a bit to rebuild the shed etc.. but looks cheaper than the big a$$ cranes & road closures you're looking at.

Doubt it it that simple IRL but got to ask
