I vote professional too we got a new leaf spring made for a trailer and Beamaley and East in chch and it only cost like 60$ a few years back. Those guys were really helpful to. No doubt most spring places are the same?

On a side note I have a heap of 50x10 spring steel at work. We use it for building up cultivation points. But its hard to buy because the steel company brings it in for one customer so they have to check with that customer before they sell it. May be different up there though.

If your old door mirrors are genuine 720 ones and in good condition I'd be interested in buying them if they're for sale.

Must admit it was kinda cool seeing my photo on the main page. Even if it was just a photo of a magazine page of other people's photos.

Other one is the turbo oil return. It's just goes into the sump.

I wonder if that was actually Fords intended purpose. Its super handy for that makes me want to build a turbo pinto now haha.

Theres also a 5 speed borg warner "non t5" that where used behind the 3.3 falcons, mitsi sigmas and some escorts? (not sure). Apparently they are shit house and break easy as with anything over 150hp.

You can normally work out what they are off the numbers on the side. I think its starts with a 5XX-XXXX somthing like that.

Guy I know had a 3.3 XE and put a turbo 4.1 in kept the orginal single rail 5 speed and years later it was still holding together. On the flipside another friend used celica boxes (dont know code number?) behind a standard 4.1 and he broke 4 of them. Really put me off celica boxes I think supra ones are the better maybe.

Ive seen tow bars made for vehicles that are 10mm out. Things pull when welding so if its only 3mm out chances are it will fit with a pry bar or a bottle jack.

I've encountered a slight technical hitch in that the camping mattress I was meant to be buying off a mate is locked in his flat and hes stuck in Wellington for 2 weeks

We tried selling our last house in trademe and got no interest. So got a real estate agent they showed it to a couple of people then rang the neighbors and said you should buy this for your oldest kid and they did.

No help to you that story really but I think for the $130? (Used to be) on trademe it would be worth trying to do it yourself before paying an agent.
