Nah wasn't that one but gives me some idea at least of price

So I know this old guy who has a bunch of Citroens the coolest being a 1982 or 83 CX. Ive asked him for a few years now if he wants to sell it to me and its always been no but circumstances have changed and ill health has made him reconsider. The car has currently no WOF but Rego is on hold. I've had a good look over the car, the air system works well car has new steering rack, engine performs well and the general body is in good nick, however all 4 doors have rust in them. He has 2 replacement doors to go with car. So potentially the only thing stopping it from getting a WOF is the rust in doors and dodgy handbrake cable. So here is the question whats it worth? He doesnt want to name if figure and I don't want to offend him, but I was thinking as is $1500?

Any advice would be appreciated

I'd say go for it, just be honest and write it up in a way that gets people super keen, that way you get more people wanting to buy and bid against each other
