  1. Ok mate. just look this and then say its not cool. Lowered, Cambered and Clean = Sick as aids!!
  2. Lol. Im gooing to widen the standard steelies have allready ae. 14x6's to 14x10's. LOL.
  3. Getting some TEQ (to-yo-da) Stickers to sticker bomb the firtherest rear side windows and one corner of the rear window. Im in the process of making a stainless boso pipe at work. I had the idea of painting a offset rising sun on the bonnet and mounting the oil cooler in the inside of the sun and powder coating the oil cooler red to match the red of the sun. Il buy another bonnet and see what it looks like before i put it on the car. Hope it looks good.
  4. Cheers man. Im going to get rid of the stickers on the side windows and get some more and do a better good of the sticker bombing mainly some TEQ (to-yo-da) stickers ae.
  5. lately ive been just mucking round with the engine trying to figure out if the headers will have enough clearence when fiited and if il have to adjust them even more than planed , They dont appear to be that hard to make fit the 1GGE apart from cutting the flange off, heating cutting and also bending them to fit the 1GGE exhaust gasket. Ive also be cutting, grinding and general shaping some 2-inch stainless tube to make a boso pipe that I will hopefully have welded up fitted by friday and il also make another Boso hanger/ring that was stolen by some sad sack on a late friday night a few weeks back. Im currently waiting on the RB26 ITB gasket to be cut out and then ill get the ITB's off my brother and get another intake manifold and cut and shape that one to fit the ITB's on it. then il get an aftermarket version of the standard ITB manifold and run the air flow metre and a Greddy E-manage to run the whole set-up.
  6. Lastest update been a while so i surpose i better do something. I have got rid of all the stickers apart from one new one on the rear window in the corner, got some 6-inch speakers for the front and geting a new head unit because the one i had in it has baked itself and doesnt seem to want to play CD's anymore. Got a 1G-GE off Rick (TMC-ke70) for $300 He had completely re-placed all the gaskets and gave it a cam grind i think. Shes a bute and will look good sitting in between the struts of my GX61 with a Individual Throttle Body set-up on the side and a set of equal lenght headers (2JZ ones made to suit, Easy as, though others on here will disagree). The next upgrades to come are a W55 gearbox, new clutch and lightened flywheel, Clutch pedal, Boso/Dildo Gear knob, to get a exhaust manifold gasket cut out, to start work on the exhaust manifold adjusting. More updates and pics to come.
  7. Yeah. The ITB set-up is a while away though. Im in the process of getting a perfect condition, perfectly mint 1992 Toyota Windom for $300, Its so cheap because it has a hair line crack on the radiator and my dad knows him. VIP stylin'. hahaha, not Oldschool though.
  8. Ok, Il have to check it out then.
  9. That's the general rule, but after seeing some dyno tests (not mine, just on the net) it isn't quite as it sounds Probly, Im new to this and thats only what my mates have said, Then again they think that you should put a Boso pipe on every car in the world . Maybe I need new friends .
  10. Amen to that, I wouldnt see much point in me or anyone else putting ITB's on their N/A and have the sweet sound that they produce muffled out. Il use the panel filter idea then, seeing so many people have suggested it must be a good choice.
  11. Sweet as mate, Ive seen a couple or RBs that arent a RB26 running ITB's, man were mean as ae.
  12. Nar mate, I know for a fact that having longer or shorter trumpets effect the response, If they are short the acceleration is faster, but if they are longer they have better high end tourqe by memory. Im not that smart either but I do know that, I hope im right.
  13. Sweet Im going to go with the First option then. Il get the manifold made up and run a pod filter. Cheers.
  14. So your suggesting using three twin Piper cross filters and having a Plenum with cold air ducting then?? I've put some serious thought into the RB26 Throttles and the only down side to using them is the distance that each throttle is form another. Im going to get the gashet for the ITB's cut out and welded to the 1GGE Intake gasket, But how long should the lenght of the runners be, Because I know that the lenght of the runners and the trumpets if fitted on to the ITB's effect the response, either better in the low RPM or higher RPM.
  15. Ok, I know that it Wouldnt it have the same sound as a 4Age on 6500rpm but how sweet does a 6 cylinder sound at full tit??
  16. How much clearance between the throttle and the top of the air box would be the best then?
  17. Wow, That engine looks mean, Why are people running trumpets or filters and not running the plenum if it is better?? Just wanting to know.
  18. Sweet, Im going to run a intake plenum then with the six filters. What do you usefor Plenum intake ducting?? just a pipe feeding air from front?? or a pod filter or something?? Cheers.
  19. Yeah, I was thinking fibreglass or stainless or alloy. Because I could get all the metal for free and welded up for free also. Would it be advisible to just have trumpets and no plenum?? If not, Why not??
  20. Yeah, I was think of some kind of Link ECU, they didn't win a prize at seama for nothing. I was thinking of using either single filters or the Dual filters so i might use Pipercross or trumpets but didn't think of using a plenum with them so i might use these ideas when it comes time to fit the throttle bodies.
  21. Would you suggest using trumpets instead?? Im going to use RB26 ITB's Because I can them cheap and my brother can make me the manifold. But if someone can sell me X6 4AGE throttle bodies i would use them instead because I've seen people use themon the 1G engine before. What ECU do you suggest using??
  22. Hey Everyone, Im getting a 1gge engine and im going to suiting the RB26DETT Individual throttle bodies that my brother owns to the standard 1GGE Alloy Intake manifold Gasket and weld on a custom set of runners to a Alloy gasket for the ITB's to be bolted to and then get the set up finished with a new set of Sock filters. I am also going to adjust my brothers toyota 2JZ-GE supra headers he got off Ebay that didn't fit his Right Hand Drive toyota supra because there are intended for a Left Hand Drive, Im going to get him to get a Stainless 6mm or 8mm 1GGE exhaust gasket cut out which I will get welded on myself.
  23. My brother used to take it to polytech in timaru everyday so you may have seen him cruzing round in it up there.
  24. Got some toyota estima front speakers in the front now (Toke them out of our old de-registered one) surprizingly they went in easy and go really sweet. And yes 6x9's was a stupid thing to say, It was just my very imature head processing the one of a million of stupid things going on in there to my finger tips, which in turn typed it down. Hahahaha. (Shortened version im a Pinhead, hahaha.)
