Have Recaro seats mounted using vehicle specific Recaro rails. The seat belt stalk comes off the rails, if going for a re-cert would the stalk need to re-mounted off the tunnel (using those belt mount plates). Or possibly get away with keeping them as is due to being reptible brand rails with all the stickers and standards?

Mr kpr, can i get some light shed on my plan.
Currently have 20v (stock cams, 11.5:1 compression) with A/M headers, 2.5" exhaust with two moderately sized donuts (straight through) and what i believe to be one of those turbo flow style mufflers.
I like the current sound as its not raspy. But im wanting to ditch that last muffler as its waaay too quiet on track and replace it with 2.5" mild steel straight pipe. Would you say it should keep the current tone but just make it louder?

Spotted these in a magazine today if you're up for a bit of a DIY

Run a piece of cardboard over mine to stop it over cooling on the street plus help it warm up quicker (winter is a bitch even with a thermostat in the filter adaptor). No issues with it burning it so far either.

With the wheel size amendment on certs, can I have two sizes listed so that I can have either 15x7 or 17x7 rims on the car? Car currently has 17" alloys listed on the plate but I'd also like to be able to run 15's from time to time (track wheels are 15's and CBF changing them on the day at the track).

New you had that 34, didnt realise it was on Works!
Are they RP01's I spy in the first shed photo next to the Recaros?

I tossed up between the 888's and the cheaper nitto's and the look of the pattern for the nitto's put me off as they don't look as thopugh they would have muh wet weather capability..
I ran Nitto's the other week in the rain at Manfeild (second event on them) and they were faultless. My car weighs roughly 1120kg, pumped the tyres up to 32psi cold and had no grip issues. Only thing to watch for would be large puddles.

Works quite well in sport mode

I like how RSR had to de-tune the TRD V8 down to 700ish hp.

I think its amusing that they believe they are being original with a v8 swap. Max Oridio already has done a Lexus ISF v8 swap in a 86 as his D1GP car (since replaced with what i believe is a LS v8).

Ooh, can you put up my 20V (so noise without speed lol) Corolla

Uncle wasnt there at the time so couldn't ask. It seemed to be pretty rusty though. The rust patch on the c-pillar was a rust hole haha

Just found this out the back of an uncles workshop

I agree Steve. Too similar to a R35 GTR with that black bumper centre IMO

Will make it this time around too.

is Trd doing anything to give this motor more balls? soz if iv missed it
Rear muffler which is meant to gain 5kw..... Like mentioned plenty of companies offering FI kits. Gazoo Racing in Japan (tied in with Toyota iirc) twin charged one with good results.

Was looking at this only a few months ago while visitingKen. Such an awesome car.

The spoiler with the aero kit definately has a Celica look to it. TRD spoiler looks much much better.

Took our demo for a spin at lunch time over the P-Track. Such a nice car to drive, though being a base spec the brakes didn't feel too good. Add to that not overly keen to bend a new car I didn't want to push it too much.
A+ would trade again

Very cool Rich!

TNZ have run out of GT86s so prob most of those in the picture will be going to dealers to be demos. Looking forward to getting our one at work to take for a spin
