Na don't no what it is its doing my head in lol.I think i need a recond starter or something ive tested/tried everthing else cos its dropping to about 10v when i think its ment to be staying at 12v turns over with plugs out seeing as its easier to turn over but just doesn't like it with the fresh engine and needs those extra volts to crank with the plugs in.

The equips look sweet on those tyres heaps of room to get low.are they the 175 50's ?

Cheers for the encouragement Feathersword, wondering if I should lower it or not, it would look better but they ride like crap when lowered and it actually handels quite nice as it is, plus I can load it up with deliveries for work and it wont bottom out. Decisions decisions.

Hi RHM, this is what I have mate, looks like a mint car, I remember a friends dad had one new when I as a kid, he used to drive it like he was Bruce McLaren.

I would pay 5k for this car if it was a 3-Door in that condition, you would not lose money on it if you looked after it and kept it OEM.

It really annoys me this car because he hasn't looked after it at all.Cut up the parcel tray, paint lifting on the roof, drivers seats got a hole in it.Just no where near that mint anymore and can't justify 5k unless it was still this mint.I plan on buying one unmodified and keeping it that way.If anyone no's of one that someone may part with let me no .

How much does he want for it? I sold my last mint one for over 6k so people do pay good money for them.

From memory he wanted 5k which is probly not to bad considering its done 160kms but he just hasn't looked after it at all in saying that it would probly clean up close to what it was like in the photos above when it was on trade me a few years ago.I was thinking more the 4k mark but will keep hassling him cos its needs a new owner befor its not worth saving.

Cheers, performance is honest to put it kindly, I have a race car for my fast fix so I just plan on keeping it all OEM and using it as an around town car. If a GT wheel pops up I will grab it but they are like you say bus like (due to no power steering I assume) and not the best to drive with.

XSSPEED. If it’s a NZGT 5-Door it should have the poo brown interior, different from the grey/red interior on the 3-door.

Hey its rowan (poo brown kp60).Sweet that you scored a set of those tyres i thought i got the last set of four in the country.they look sweet on the fins.Giving me motavation to get my equips/commands sanded/polished and onto the starlet.should really start up a build thread.

Love the NZ new GT's.Looks like your doing a nice job of tidying it up.Good to see its gone to a caring new owner.Id love a liftback if anyone no's someone who wants to part with one . There is a guy around the rd from me who has a mint nz liftback with 80000kms never leaves the garage ill have to keep hassiling him to part with it.From here on in id say these are only going to get more and more collectable and to be honest id have a nz new one over an import fxgt anyday theres just something about the NZ ones.
