  1. just a note, the 4wd in shuttles isn't really true 4wd. rear wheels engage when the front wheels slip. kinda useless for handling as all i see it doing is pushing an already sliding front to understeer more. i may be wrong though.

  2. The flares are known as "P-type" flares in the American market at least (and to a lot of people here too) They were to aid in covering the wider 14x7" alloys or the "Performance" version.

  3. sorry what? i'm not sure if you guys are spouting shit or not, but the last i heard from clint was that manufacturers specs still apply 100%, this was after all the above^.

the only issue was falken pulling their spec sheet that said a 195/45 was legal on an 8". i can't remember exactly but i think it ended up that falken nz said they still stuck by the 195/45 on an 8" spec

but that it could change soon.

there has never been any doubt around toyo's specs. 225/40s go up to a 9 on toyo's spec sheet so are legal. you will just need to find that spec sheet, probably best to go to your tyre guy.

    edit: nominals got it

  4. ^los angeles emissions laws are pretty lols. car can be totally fucked but oh yea you put a sweet exhaust on it with 3 cats, your good.

i am not looking to get a tiny 195 stretched onto a 10 inch rim  . but i don't want drag spec huge sidewall tires either, i don't know why this is so hard to understand .

you are looking for something that is outside of the manufacturers specs, it doesn't matter how legit it is. in the eyes of the law it isn't. i dont get how you cant see that?

  5. seriously, how can that chart compare to the numbers below it, over 55% agree

also camber doesn't kill tyres, toe does, thats just idiots slamming their cars and not getting an alignment/caring. been there done that would not trade again.
