i believe it was! i know the owner's wife quite well as she is my boss so thats how its kind of my boss's car. I remember her telling me about the chinese part and the hearse part. Everytime i see it all i can think is, gosh i wish i had seen it before it was a ute!

i had the same problem as i wanted to daily my car but insurance companies wanted me to only drive it a limited amount of kms a year. I got comprehensive with vero which was through my bank. They took insurance off me after making a large claim and NAC insured me with no dramas. so far so good.

Just went to get my muffler welded today, left my car at the garage for the day, told them to ring me if nothing goes as expected as i get screwed around and overcharged regularly. Get back to my car and he just put a new pipe on, not even the muffler, said he couldnt weld it. Then gave me a WOF. Now i sound like a 17yo boy with honda. this legal? lol

The guy that does my WOFs tries to fail me on not having seatbelts in the back and not having reverse lights. I have to remind him that its factory and then everything else that's fualty he usually passes cause he thinks its factory and doesnt wanna ask. Got a clean sheet the last time, got home and my radiator hoses had all split cause he was mucking around with them. Ahwell, still got a WOF

found the original owners handbook in my glovebox "chrysler hunter/avenger range certified car care plan" with all the details of the first owners, including their 5 digit phone number! and all the maintenence done by kirk motors up till the 72,000km mark. Mr & Mrs Browne from otahuhu i have your car, in my last car i found a diamond ring and even after a year of my windscreen smashing, i continue to find glass everywhere.

What?
1975 hillman avenger super,1.6L, 4 speed auto.
Why?
Couldn't find any cars I liked to drive when I was learning to drive. Guy at work bought a ke30 and I got jealous and wanted something similar but cheaper
When?
April 2010. Left at midnight from hastings, drove to kawakawa. Overheated multiple times on way home, picked up wheels in henderson, got back to hastings at 8pm.
How?
Trademe impulse buy. Negotiated++. Drove all the way to kawakawa and it wouldn't start, empty gas tank.
What next?
Wait till I move back from wellington and re-paint and tidy up. Win lotto and buy bel air
