heres my first project car. (the money pit) 1980 mitsubishi celeste 4g32 1600cc manual brought it 4 years ago when i was 15 for $1500 drove it everyday for 3 months then took it off the road been building it since then and am nearly finished. some photos off trademe when i brought it

turning car into a show car so want to keep it original as possible with original engine but worked 4g63 is not an option guys ive heard of people stroking out the engine to a different cc e.g stroked form 1600cc - 1800cc or 2000cc is there any benefits from doing this or just a waste of time i just want it to be quicker than standard

what about over sized pistons? would that be worth doing?

hey guys ive got a mitsubishi celeste which i am rebuilding from the ground up, its now come to the time for me to do some work on the motor im hoping someone can help me with what to do as i have no experience with engine rebuilds. ill strip down the engine myself but i dont know what to do after that anyone from christchurch recommend a certain engine rebuilder? also does anyone know what i could do to get the most hp out of my motor possible? e.g what to get done to internals, head, bolt on mods etc its a sohc 4g32 with a single carb at the moment what have u guys done to ur old school jap engine that have worked well for u? can anyone help!!!!!
