Yea pulled exhaust of and it's already been removed. Put a pod style air filter on it aswell goes reasonably well now

Got it running messed around with float and measured where i thought it should be at 24mm. Also removed restrictor on intake and took the top pilot jet out and seems to be running mint now

Can't find much online about the factory settings. Found somewhere saying 24-25mm not exactly sure where to measure from I don't have a manual

Purchased a 80s lt50 not running. Have managed to get it to run for 5 seconds or so then bogs and dies. So far ive cleaned the fuel tap out got a steady flow coming out, stripped carb down cleaned everything unblocked jets etc messed around with float and needle valve thing and bowls filling up. Seems to be getting plenty of spark when i pulled plug out after it dies and wont start seems to be reasonably wet. May be flooding itself?

Yea I measured it like that and they are 5/120.

How is it measured, do you measure from middle of stud to the one opposite. My ones are close to 108mm across them like that.

What stud are vk commodores. I'm thinking of buying one without wheels and I've just got some 5x120 steel rims to put on. I've read somewhere that 4 cylinder vk's are different than a 6 cylinder.

Just put a 1500 out of a 86 wagon into my hatch. Problem is the plugs of the hatch loom are different to the ones coming of the wagon engine, and theres a extra wire coming of the engine loom which has no where to go on the hatch loom. Should i just connect all the wires together instead of using the plugs or get a engine loom from a 1300 what use to be in it.

would the lip of this polish up ok as thinking of getting them and painting the centeres black and polishing the lip.What would it cost to get them polished.
