The reason that felt off possibly because Ned helped me did the timing 2 month ago. Forgot to take the spanner/ratchet off while I started the engine.

Ok, it's In, Not exactly in position, But can't take them off by hand now.
used small hammer with rags wrapped around.
shouldn't be much force applied at all.
Now, Should I keep slamming it then put the bolt on or?
I am worried now, How would I take it off in the future to change the timing belt or something??
-
Well, Last night pulled out garage to make the burger meet, noticed the battery charger light is on. Then found alternator belt off, when I was trying to fit the belt, I couldn't find the crankpulley to put the belt on. Luckily I found the pulley resting on the underbody panel.
Bought the bolt today should fit. also new belt as last one missing One Track out of 5.
Right, I will clean both surfaces, make sure I got the slots right and hammer it carefully.
Will report back.

This probably again sounds dumb.
It seems to be very straight forward job.
But I can't put the Crank pulley back on, without smashing it.
Are you suppose to heat treat it or something?
how else do you put the crank pulley back on the engine?
Suck balls.

very ture, Probably suitable some one which a full roll cage and the only bit left are the doors.
It does look very good!

Back to the topic
I am thinking just maybe getting the ZN door stabiliser for my rusty corolla. I have heard they work well.
14000 Japan Yan. = 250 dollars NZ
Very smart design tbh.
VG, Get these?
-
Ok L6, happy now?
-
what? you mean the V6 Altezza? not the 201-210bhp beams, no bro.
-
I believe it's All TRD Bits yes (including suspension) You can Get for the ZN is on the TRD version.
Probably no one would complain about 20k upgrade if they priced this car at 60-80k range in the first place.
-
Screw the EOI. Cunt me in Richie.
-
crazy.
It just looks like the Engine,Gear Box and Diff system is 3 times bigger than the car.
Or
Looks like Someone built the Mechanical parts first and then bolt the Chassi and Panels to it.
What kind of Power would it be putting out? if it's under Rally legislation, I am guessing under 300bhp?
-
yeh, I will show up this time at backyard bar.
-
Never mind, The other TRD parts don't cost half as much, Just the Brake kit for ZN.
-
Yeh. see below TRD Japan Link. Expect it will cost 20-30% more here in NZ as well.
http://www.trdparts.jp/english/pdf/86PL%20list.pdf
The brake and Wheel kit would cost 20g, It better to stop the car faster than you hitting a tree!
could anybody explain why this kit would cost so much?
-
What? 13K for some brakes? Are they Ceramic brakes? When did Toyota become Lamborghini..
-
Yeh, I seriously don't know what would that stupid wing do given the TRD version is so tiny.
-
I have not been in a R35, but Have seen stock ones flying at Poke. Faster than anything on the track, including two lambos.
I Just can't justify why the ZN TRD version is 20k more than the stock, Which is half the price of the car. Shit.
edit:
Just found out the GT86 with aero Kit(someone mentioned it before I didn't believe it) is actually Fugly.
-
I realize I should let you people know that few AE boys would show up for our meet.
Ling.
-
New Lynn pit stop isn't that bad. cost me just under 100 dollars to mount my exhaust in.
-
Why would you take a TRD 86 over an awesome GTR?
86 does 7-8 L/100kms. also insurance would be much cheaper.
If I had to choose one. I would take GTR at that price, then few years late buy the TRD ha.

2 days to go and still no car to get there with, dont want to miss this after missing the last heaps, LOL i think i have some horrible luck with cars.

-
1700kg, oh, just same as a Holden V8 Commodore, just bit slightly less of horse power, like 350 of them
I am so confused now with 64-65k. TRD Or 1 dollar GTR? 1983 again?
-
Check out the official website that has been updated now.
Has more model and technical info along with some sweet photos.
I really like the look of the TRD Special Edition
yum
64-65k. WOW. Not cheap fun any more isn't it?
I am pretty sure, It is exact the same car just with TRD Bits which you can buy to put on it.

Do you mean the timing belt Guide washer that between The cam cover and the Timing belt pulley?
http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_J_1983_T ... _1301.html
It is there.
The Pulley isn't fully in yet, You think If I tighten it up to the torque spec, it would be fully in?
How would I pull it out again later on??
