haha, the fuc*n headaches of this ... atleast we are in the same boat with this conversion... iv test fitted ae86 front adjustables, they are all good but yeah just need the ae86 steering arm

Ill be keeping my lca's because they are 10mm longer, and the ball joints are the same taper anyway so not really a need to change them. the top bolt pattern on the tophat would be the same or different? id like to run the standard 13's but id definatly like to be stopping aswell, so i think ill be going to 15's not sure what style yet though becasue i want to keep it as original looking as possible..

as far as i know ae86, ke70, te71 gear is all the same ae86 and tt132 lower control arms have the same ball joint taper but the tt132 lca's are better apparently because they are 10mm longer, 300mm long instead of 290mm not sure on top hats

Restoring the headlights today, will post pictures when theyr all done and shiny! cleaning the engine bay and removing anything i dont need, should be getting underway soon with mounting the 1jz if everything goes to plan... heres hoping it does!

iv got 3t engine parts coming out my arse! given up on rebuilding the 3t, if u have chrome bumpers id love to give u a wad of cash for them

so ae86 stuff should help me out then?? but ill double check before i go ahead and jump into that..

just looking at a way to fit off the shelf coil over stuff up front, not sure on what brakes i should use because id like to use the factory 13" wheels... but then i would like to stop the 1j... any ideas... or just face it and fit bigger wheels

Would ae86 stuff fit into the corona? iv been told its the same, would the ae86 lower arms etc fit making it easier to fit ae86 adjustable suspention into the corona?

Hey, im just wondering what would fit with little or no modification so i have powersteering in my corona to clear the turbo downpipe when i fit the 1jzgte... what bits and pieces do i need? cheers

Posted up a couple of pictures, stil havent pushed it outside yet... All ive been doing is cleaning everything up, the guy who had it before me towed caravans so its got alot of random bits and pieces... even a solar panel up in the back window, does anyone know if they came with air shocks or is that all apart of towing the caravan. He even put twink over the chrome to protect it from the roof racks, black gunk all around the tail lights which is taking forever but there is chrome under there. basically just getting everything mint and ready to begin

Autosol... Was thinking maybe.. widening the steel wheels and re painting them, keep the chrome inserts and centercaps, maybe get the tires whitewalled... just a thin one and leave it like that

I spent abit of time on toymods searching and found a nice example with a 1jzgte.. Found a half cut from a soarer at a nice price so if these roads open up ill be going to pick it up asap. Nothing special to look at at the moment...

What will fit inside a 3t carby block... will 3tgte pistons fit? crank/rods etc? will a 2t dohc heads fit? any other interchangable parts etc... any help would be awsome, i got my head around k series engines now its these. im not a mechanic so iv gotta learn, all for a 81 corona

can anyone help me with some plans for making some engine mounts to fit my gx71 cressy with a 2jzgte, iv heard you have to notch one mount for a oil line fitment ??? or can anyone make me some of these?? paid for obviously any help, or anyone who has done this i can talk to about it would be awsome... cheers.

yep... mine lasted to 388,666 k's then shit its self, just replacing the engine now, was full of sh!t oil galleries blocked, center cam bearing seized.. lovely day for me! 1jz...

they are 14x7 ssr 3 piece wheels, i was going to flip the dish to the inside... why is that average lol, isnt that what its made for??

Haha, yeah iv got no problems cutting springs.. how much approximatly would i be looking at for new shocks? and could anyone point me in the direction of rolling guards diy... no guard roller. iv got some 14x7 3 piece ssr wheels i want to flip and put on
