  1. Thanks to the help of TMC, just got this junk running. Removed the baffles and cleared out the exhaust and its going better than it ever has and can now keep up with traffic lol.

New seat, exhaust, air filter battery etc should now see it ready for summer rides

aside from the seat I was hard pressed to find a similar bike in better condition for what I paid for it......

Just gonna do seat, basic maintenance and a few power mods and just ride

/ im also a member - keen to "break down" and get a car given to me

haha i actually went out and practised driving witout a clutch after being told wat to do for future reference aye. its not that bad unless u have to stop then it gets gay :lol:

  5. 100% old school. I only own Cortinas and am using my wagon till I have the mark 4 auto going then the wagons being tucked away for winter hibernation me thinks

and a bit of tinkering too :D

  6. I was thankful today for being an AA member when my clutch cable snapped in the Cortina and i lost the clutch

Very good service I had 2 didnt have to wait ages and took 2 mins to load the cars on.

    Free towage too.

All in all if ur not an AA member i suggest becoming one u never know when you will need it. I didnt expect my clutch cable to snap after all.
