A long day on the holesaw ahead !The start of the trailer base and draw bar setup

Can't wait for next year.. are you looking at competing at golden cross road on the 29th?
Hey , I was out of the country so missed it unfortunately. My next event will probably be the leadfoot festival next year
Did you go to the golden cross hillclimb ?

Looks like you're having some fun in this thing!
What brake pads do you run and how to they fell? The reason I ask is that they're really squeaky and in my experience that usually points to the compound being too hard. In my car, it made a huge difference going to a softer compound. Now they work from cold and it's much easier to modulate the pedal and avoid lockups. Plus they don't squeak anymore.
Hey , Thanks , been having a blast in it lately. All the small little developments and mods are coming together
That squeak is really annoying ! Its only on the rears and the brakes work really nicely, good from cold and no lock ups but are just really noisy. I started with Wilwood PolyMatrix E which is what I run up front but have gone to a softer wilwood pad like you did, a BP-20 (which I was using for that last hillclimb), my next one to try is a BP-10 which is softer again. I've also tried the anti vibration shims and new discs with no luck...

Seems this discussion thread hasn't been active for a while but just wanted to say it was awesome to see your car go up the hill at leadfoot and thank you for taking the time to meet and chat with my mates and I in the pits between runs. The atmosphere at the event was fantastic and they way the drivers, mechanics and team members welcomed the spectators in and around the pits was just fantastic.
Thanks for the comment mate !
Unfortunately my laptop broke at leadfoot and I haven't managed to get onto oldschool lately
Thoroughly enjoyed the whole Leadfoot experience and thank you to your friends for coming over to chat , that really made the weekend for me how welcoming and friendly everyone wasOn 2/10/2017 at 21:04, steve said:+1 to that.
