Hey mate. I'm interested in the KE70 booster and AE111 master conversion you've done. Are there any special tricks involved or does it all just bolt on? Is it an aftermarket booster or factory one as I can't seem to find a factory one that is that small? Model specific maybe?
The cylinder/drum looks smaller than the AE85 or AE86 ones which would enable me to run longer trumpets. Currently can't go longer than 75mm. Would be very interested in your reply. Cheers!

Do you have a mold for that airbox man?

What a lame way to go out.

Farrrk, that isn't even a tape deck!
You don't hear that very often.

its just an awesome car to work on except for the overwhelming fear you could scratch or dent it.
Which you didn't. I would have been nice to chuck more money at it but its effectively a new motor and another 20kw on the previous smallport 4age so good gains have been made. The filters, well they might not be the greatest but open trumpets and wet days might not be so good either. I'm happy anyway so all good.

I have MKIIIs, the ones they sell at Supercheap work. Think they are about $16 for 4. I have a complete set that I could sell you cheaper than that if you like. MKIIIs and MKIIs are the same wheel nut wise.

Hope you are taking the City to the meet this weekend!

Saw this http://www.trademe.co.nz/property/resid ... 029341.htm might suit someone. Pretty cheap and lots of space.

Thats the way it goes i guess. Should be quarterly anyways. Annually takes a whole year to come round funnily enough.

Where be the pics?

LXS10? 95'ish. It was my wife that saw it not me so can't be certain. Just showed her some pics on Wikipedia.

Anyone else seen this around the North Western Motorway. My wife spotted it yesterday. It's red, japanese Taxi light on roof, possibly a Toyota Crown Comfort (s10), low.

i payed a bit over 2k for mine, turned out to be a bit of a rust bucket tho
Aren't they all?
I paid $600 for mine, sold off a lot of stuff for at least 4 x what I paid for it and then spent unknown dollars building it up to what is basically a standard car thats been lowered. Something went wrong along the way I'm sure, there has to be an easier way.
However, if you buy a car you didn't build yourself you inherit some weird shit sometimes.

If you buy an AE85 you will only want to turn it into an AE86. By the time you have done that you will have spent more than an AE86 would have cost in the beginning and still just have an AE85. Save yourself the hassle, time, money and buy a good example AE86. I think there are 3 or 4 good ones on Trademe at the moment.

He was happy enough with 7.5j and 185 55 so though I might get away with 8js
-
Bump. Anyone??
-
I'm after a pair of 14x8j's preferably or 14 x7.5j failing that, to get my car through cert.
4x114.3 stud pattern.
Offset not important as long as they are not crazy +.
I an honest and reliable and will supply a dozen beer for your enjoyment.
Good tyres would be a plus and 185 55s would be even better but no tyres is also fine.
Needed around early june.
Currently situated in New Windsor.
Cheers!
