I have to say that i used to think like u too man...they are just doing their job...however as i said, i havnt been pulled over for no good reason in years...and i dont think it should be allowed that u can be judged by the car you are driving (unless it looks ilegal, which the r30 doesnt) let alone the clothes you are wearing.

It is their job to make judgment calls if and where they see fit, within reason etc. A cop that sees a dodgy looking car drive pass and ignores it, only to then see an old lady doing 45 in a mini and then pull her over.. is a cop who probably dosn't make very good choices.

Part of the job is to pass judement and make choices that they think are likley to help others (ie, taking fuckt old cars off the road).

I love them. Everything about them. sure some other cheaper cars might share parts etc but its the whole package. I had a mint trueno, it had a blue interior. Was so 80's and sweet. Awesome balance etc. was only an 85 too... 86's are so different again and a better motor, diff, gearbox, etc makes a big difference. I wish I had never sold my 85. It was an 86 and I had sold it I would be pretty pissed off at myself.

Sometimes wonder how these would compare to a more modern car like an mx5 or MRs etc. Could always buy one of them and sink some coin into them. rekon an mx5 would be a super sweet ride if you get get past what other people think.
