  1. The EA82 turbo is reliable if you don't let it overheat.

Make sure the radiator, hoses and water pump are good and you'll be fine.

They don't have a hell of a lot of grunt but they're fun to drive.

The real bulletproof engine is the EA81, 81-85ish.

Yeah had read simillar things online. Normally replace those things when I get a new car anyway, but good to know 8)

  2. Anyone know much about them?

If they are maintained are they pretty reliable?

Looking at an old 87 wagon. Turbz... Might try and find a non turbo one tho as I know they are pretty bullet proof.

    Do they have much grunt?

  3. Cunts in this country have the worst taste in car modification

Know the guy who owns NIZOLA. Unkeen on it but fuck that's been a long time in the making. Fucking high quality build

Where's tits at. k33n on them

AU WHAT DO U MEAN BAY. MY FAMIL LUKZ SIK WITH NO FRONT BUMPER AND A COOLER 12x TO BIG FOR A VOLVO TRUCK.

Each to their own etc, but fuck the bogan kiwi mentallity.

  4. Not sucking brake fluid in anywhere??? Or pressurising radiator? Or excessively fumey?

    Brake fluid? Don't think so..

Pressurising radiator? Maybe... How should I check? Its no using any coolant or anything..

Fumes... Yes... I like my 80's turbo cars running rich mother fucker! But for real.. im not sure. It smells, but im guessing thats the smell of delicious blue smoke.

  5. so went home and put a bit of oil on the thread and managed to get it in. Was harder to get in than the rest but seemed to go in ok....

Now the car is blowing a fair bit of blue, it shouldn't take long for it to burn off any oil that might have dripped into the head...

Sort of blue under boost, blue when revs held highish, and more white smoke when you come off the gas after some boost.. Does that sound like it could be the H/G?
