I had thought about adaping a dishwasher or several. Really it needs to be bigger than a dishwasher so might have to make a box and go from there.

Im looking for ideas on how good those Turbo Wash high pressure hot was units are. Im looking to get one or considering building one. Has anyone built one before?

Or what are peoples thoughts on them.  Will mostly be cleaning up suspension and dirty rally car parts.

Steam cleaner does an ok job but the workshop Im in doesnt have a sump in the ground so landlord isnt too happy with me blasting away out in the carpark ha.

Keen to hear your guys opinions.

Hey all, looking to move up to CHCH again.  Working through the pro's and con's. Does anyone know of small workshops / storage avaliable for 1 and a half cars. power etc.   Project car plus alittle space for working room etc

Any ideas / advice on where / who to look / contact would be sweet.

Hi all, just in from mowing the lawns.  Lawnmowers been using oil and getting worse and worse. Got a slight knock now.  

  Whilst mowing was thinking of repower options for it. Frames still good so worth it.

Could do the sensible and just get a new Briggs and stratton replacement motor for it, but what fun would that be.

Current engine is 4hp B+S  IC with side shaft output.

So definitely cant go below that power wise. something around 6hp.

What ideas have we got??

Not into grenade engines. Needs to go for at least 2 hours at a time. Push behind.

Hey all. Weighing up the option of buying a rolling body out of Auckland. Only hassle is getting it back down to Timaru - South Island.

First option is car trailer and road trip it to get it back.

Whats peoples opinions on the best way to get it transported? I doubt whether any freight company would touch it being as its not driveable.

Any Ideas appreciated.

Hey everyone, had an inquiry for Computer minded or computer literate people.

I am trying to find a copy of some drawing software so I can get some practice and design some parts for CNC manufacturing and doing solid models etc

So does anyone have a copy of "Inventor" or Auto CAD or Solid Works.

What is the industry standard at the moment.

Or whereabouts would I start to get a copy?

Hey all, I'm currently trying to find out track widths / hub face to hub face measurements of a couple of toyotas.

I've tried googleing and using the search but haven't been able to find what I'm after.

I'm after hub face to hub face measurements of

TE71 Front -

TE71 Rear (Disc Brake Rear) -

TA63 Front -

TA63 (IRS) Rear -

KP60 Front -

Hey, I'm after some help re carbs for a 3au.

Currently I'm running the factory carb but with all the vaccum lines and emission controls etc.

Are there any manual carbs that bolt on or are similar that I can swap for??

The motors in a street car, but will be mild to warm when I've finished rebuilding it.

Would sidedrafts be overkill for the street?? What size would be best??

Any help would be mint.
