5 spokes are lusher tbh.
if you're set on bbs look, maybe buy these
http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-par ... 124750.htm
then sell yours. will end up cheaper by the time you redrill, try and find centre caps, and buy/fit tyres.

look good mate, keep seeing it outside grants. wheels suit the car very well
-
Imo grafting another front clip on of the same model would come under 'repair'. but guess it would depend on who does the compliance, and mainly, if its noticeable
-
Yea be really careful. When it goes for compliance, if the welds are noticeable most likely you require a repair cert. Old mans got a Renault Clio V6 in for compliance at the moment, it that failed for accident repairs, (done by Renault hong kong) and it was pretty well covered, but the underseal didn't match the factory so the inspector went probing and decided it need to be stripped back

Rob Penman is a g/c but don't think he has a workshop at the moment

Amazing book, on special at the warehouse for $5 at the moment

Pretty much if you have an accident with it on A class no insurance companys are going to touch anything. And you will probably get in more trouble.
And I mean if you write off a jag / power pole (they are expensive) especially if their insurance won't pay cos your car is not legal.
Get on ya bike.
Class A. I've run it on 15 od cars in last 5 years. Never had one problem. Had accident and it wasn't an issue, had another mate right his car off, ami didn't give a shit. Looking up on police computers it doesn't show the specific registration class AFAIK, also what class rego you have has nothing to do with getting a wof or not. With normal rego you need to get the WOF first, wof inspector can't fail you for having no rego, or any other kind of rego.
But yes I think you *could* get rolled on a technicality, but the chances are slim.

Anyone had experience with certifying a car with Torsion bar suspension
Do you lose the factory range of adjustability because cert plates have +/- 5%?
Just wondering as my car has a good 20mm of difference between the adjustment range on the factory nut, much greater than the 5% given by the cert plate.
I've had a brief look through the LVVTA documents but couldn't find anything.
Cheers!

roller priming comes out pretty sweet, might be a hassle getting the roller in the engine bay though
-
Yea write in, I've got off in Auckland several times, even when rego was out, buy new rego + writing a letter = let off

sweet shed
also sweet cars

For 2 months I wouldn't worry too much about special prep for storage, try and find any interior water leaks before you go otherwise it may be damp and smelly when you return.
If you were going for a year or so I'd say drain the fuel, and chuck on stands.

there might still be some manifolds kicking around for these motors, dennis marwood would be the guy to talk to, can't remember the name of his shop though. He did the twin dellorto manifolds for the civic zr's, he still has those moulds, so might have stuff for the accords?
