The reason you cant see any exhaust is coz it exits on the left just behind the wheel

and for everyone that says "lower it", come around for a real look... I have hassles getting in the drive as it is! It sux the way the rear kicks up and makes it look high

Not necessarily... when I first lowered the merc, I towed a log splitter to palmy and over 80 the front/steering wheel shook so bad I actually stopped to check teh wheel nuts... it was so bad my horn-ring was rattling on the steering wheel!

got to palmy, unhooked log splitter and drove down the road all the way to 140 without even the slightest wobble... and I used to do tyres/wheel alignments in oz in the mid 90's so I sorta thought I'd fucked something, but the whole time it was the log splitter I was towing...

get sparkle to put you onto the dude that got his german plates made up for him. cost fuck all, and would suit it hard. narrow nz plate doesn't really cut it IMO

thats a plan... was gunna get euro plates until I saw the price. Merc ones were POA so i'd imagine in the thousands

You're compressing air, so the supercharger will still generate heat. Boyles law I think... (been about 10 years since I studied it). Plus the mechanical heat as Corrupt already mentioned. You don't need one for low boost set-ups though.

I can see your point but I'd personally run the blower with the shortest possible route to combustion anyway... meh...

used to V8 setups... these fours, jap/euro sixes and rotes get me all fucked up on most things.. the merc is my first OHC engine that I have actually considerin doin something to besides driving it... (had a 4-pot corty when I first come over from Oz but when I found you couldn't just bolt a 250 crossflow in, I sold it)

more cores, big header tank and a slowish flow for max air cooling works on a V8... rotes? no fuckin idea....

and while we on that, why the intercooler? it's not getting heated by exhaust gas like a turbs...

yea, my parents are with AMI and they said that they wouldn't touch it with a barge pole due to my age etc.

AMI, state, tower etc. wouldn't touch merc coz if its age (i'm way too old for insurance to worry about my age...)

Like Mikuni says, try NAC... or a Vero agent (you'll have to go thru insurance broker, but I've heard good things)
