Been think thinking about electric water pump. Put it on a turbo timer or similar.

I'm keen as nothing I need more than Lucas parts. Yipe would love 2 have a chat to this guy see what he will sell for real money.

Yipe have used water wetter works a treat but was looking for a more permanent solution. Cooling system is totally up to date . New radiator and water pump . Looking to protect the money I have invested in my heads.

Not as many MK4 / 5 cortina on carbs that did.

Time I tell the truth on my other finds. Bought a 280Z from a local towing firm. They had towed it in when the police had impounded it. Owner never collected it. I paid the towing and storage about a grand from memory and it was mine. Complete with atomic kitten tape , about 20 pie rappers and a black woollen jersey that I still wear. Plus the rear pads had MK1 cortina pads welded to the backing plates. Some nice welding . If you want ur jersey back message me . Sorry didn't keep the tape.

That would be Primo. More than happy 2 cover post costs and some gas money for driving to the post shop.

As some posters on here will know I have V6 fords English ones. They suffer from water jackets that are too small. This being the case they crack heads when they get too hot . Not sure if the water jacket is the problem but cracking is. My question is what is the best way of keeping engine temps down? Have a new radiator and water pump . When car was last going used a 72° thermostate. Had someone tell me this could cause motor to over heat because it opens further and lets the water move faster through radiator. He suggested a pressurized overflow tank rather than pressure cap on radiator. What ya all think?

Would Love 2 cast an eye over that manual . Would it be possible 2 copy it. Happy 2 cover the cost in advance if you want to do it.

Mk1 capri shell was a gold mine in the boot. Paid $100 for a rolling shell found a pair of escort struts in the boot. Previous owner had no keys couldn't get into it. Sold struts for 150 on trademe . Thought it was a manual 2 till I found the hole in the floor under the rotten carpet for the auto.

I have a new project on the wall in my workshop. It involves a low comprestion supercharger and fuel injection. Needs to look retro aka 70's so was think trumph . Based mainly on price. Any one have any knowledge of it?

From someone who works in the parts game . If they correct from suppliers catalogue your fine . Just make sure they talking about the Kent engine not a overhead can engine.

I have 2 GXL V6 . One will be rebuilt fairly standard. The second will be 4wd . First one motor wise I'm looking for about 200BHP through a 5speed box . Pm for any other details.

I'm looking into buying a V4 Capri .Yes I know gut less under powered ra ra ra .I have a V6 but it's off the road so need a gap filler. Any info for some cheap exstactors would be great.

I have a copper bicycle I intend to put a moped conversion on . One of the ones from trademe . Also looking at springger front forks. Can U buy a retro fit disc brake conversion ?

Will do spline count and post result .. Not sure on ratio but it's one of the highest that a 6cylinder sedan came out with . That's why it got dumped to tall for street stock .

I have a diff from what I believe to be an XD or XE falcon. Can't confirm origin . I'm looking at narrowing it using the short side plus short side of another. Are the axles and tubes all the same? Not wmppgddaamtt mounts they all being changed. Havn't done a spine count yet.

Have done a couple of my capris running off uniden alarms hears of space in old doors. Just remember to make sure you clear the window when it is down. Once you get door card off wind down window to see where you have room. When you finish the job to seal up door again. IE the plastic behind the door card. Take one plastic garbage bag home quality is best .But slightly larger than the door. Take a tube of Addos F2 glue and run a bead around the door. Stick the bag to the glue. It will shrink fit and real tight.
