  1. theres been a few couple of changes made to this seasons program.... 1: production saloons have just got the go ahead to run 2: demo derbies have finally got a whole lot cheaper!!!

    im using l200 lsd, stockcar guys know all the ins and out of shortening and stud pattern changes, only thing is i wont be able to run disc brake rear... not fussed though, not running a big heavy engine so my stopping distances will be fine just running a vented front set up p.s lowmk2 your honda badge is the shiznik!!! lmao rofl

  10. yep, im a wheelie tech at firestone, was a hundred dollar bomb when i first got it, didnt have a compressor back then either so the paint job you guys wudve seen was done with cans , cant wait to get some decent paint on it
  11. highly recommend "stitch" welding inner guards behind front struts and down each chassis rail, me mates even done 45's on the front corners from the front of the inner guard (under bonnet) to the radiator support panel, also stitch weld along inner sill or just go full on and stitch all the joining seams you can see... alot of weight and only really good if you intend on racing it at the speedway (streetstock) or a cunning way to win a demo derby... really depends on your intended purpose for the vehicle... go nuts

  14. at this stage im looking at pouring 6 grand into the engine alone, if the driveline breaks... good as!!! i love it when shit breaks, it gives me an excuse to spend money and time on/with my girl and not on my missus!!!! she hates my car!!! lol and i hate her f##king garden!!!! hmmm give me an idea, perhaps i should arrange a rallicross and a bit of landscaping!!! she'd love that!!!

  17. how about we do a road trip up the line... stop for smoko at levin, through to palmy for a fang on the karts (daytona) cruise saturday night in palmy then leave at midnight back via manawatu gorge through masterton, through the hutt and into town??? keen???
  18. car is for classic circuit. have a worked 1600cc at the mo, been bored to 1750cc but i feel like i need more horses, the 1.6 was doin low 1:21's at manfield, hoping to repower and keep up/lay waste to my mates 12a rx7, he runs around 1:18's have 6,000 already done all the suspension mod's possible potential for a rover v8 as i got the big drive tunnel also, but yeah classics have to have a period type engine of same make/model hence why im persuing the old cortina 2L idea.... anyone out there got a b2000/ l200 L.S.D????
