  1. thats one phat xf wagg'n cant exactly call it a shagg'n wagg'n anymore though... i mean if you were a dwarf then sure... it wud work, but... i dont think a dwarf could reach the peddles in one of those beasts, kinda renders it completey usless but none the less it still looks phat, what wud be mean though is an xf wagg'n convertable with a spa and mini bar in the back :)

  2. thanks for all the advice fullas... seems the coons not my only problem at the moment... fuckn missus having a bleet coz i spent more time on the car than with her these days... lmfao!!!! at less the car doesnt whinge!!!!

  3. update. okay, got the dash going, replaced the battery, vehicle runs with battery terminals disconnected, connect battery and go for a drive, voltmeter on dash show voltage dropping.... anyone got an answer for this??? faulty alternator?? only producing a small charge at low revs and increasing revs uses more power which is why the voltage is dropping??? correct???

  4. have jump started the coon, disconnected the battery... it still runs without the battery connected so i assume the charging system is fine, yes the battery is not holding charge... however the digital dash, fuel gauge/temp gauge and voltmeter are not working... is this related to the battery or is it cause by a fault somewhere in the system???

  5. so does this mean those digital gauges are part of the charging circuit??? because they arent working at the moment and im beginnning to wonder if thats the reason the battery isnt charging?? have tried 2 different batteries... same result

  6. just bought an xf falcon, has reconditioned alternator, battery light on dash goes out once engine has been started though battery is not charging

anyone got any ideas, i havent even started having a look yet... could be something as easy as fuses... dont know... anyone know of any common charging system fault with this vehicle... has analog dash with digital fuel and temp gauges etc etc

  7. hmmm yeah race in a straightline but beware of chicks on cell phones crossing the road  ... if you crash and burn on some whindy back road thats your problem, your driver error, tons of power and doing standstillswill fry your rear pads or shoes, had 270hp cortina which did em without any aids, see the scald marks down coast rd wainuiomata where the cortina went up in flames after the brakefluid got so hot it blew out the wheel cylinder and caught fire... so what do you use your steering wheel for?

  8. you youngins got no idea, back in my day we used to race around corners... straightline racing is lame, my wallet vs yours or my wallet vs yah mums or even worse my wallet vs yah mums car... i say bring back alexander road mt vic, a real road, downhill, where even a serious lack of horsepower can out weigh a serious lack of driving ability...

even my 4yr old can put the pedal to the metal and pop the clutch... get over it.. im all for the skids though 50litres of diesel in such a small area is an accident waiting to happen, dont need diesel when you got a trusty pair of vice grips
