It's looking off the crane boe.

Yeah, hard. Lush rear seating positions too. Should badge it up as a Valiant or some shit, see if anybody realizes that it's one of those japa cars
-
Oh means. Are you going to roll the "53 out there?
There's nothing quite like chopping alc's with old bogans that only talk about beer & carbs.
I'll be there

^ Pretty much what YOWZER said. Except don't put in a 4age/ "7age" as that's gay.
The 1600's do go quite well in standard form, like any motor they really just need the benefit of freer flow. Ditch the factory air box and get a high flow air-filter (not a Ramflo), get a decent exhaust made up and perhaps get the head port-matched as factory casting is quite bad. Then perhaps a mild cam. Twin S.U's are a bad choice as they really don't have much of a gain in performance, a single downdraught (perhaps 32/36) would be my choice. Maybe even R1 Mikuni bike carbs could be do-able
How many Km's are on the engine?
As for a transplant apparently the Rover v8's aren't a big deal to fit in, obviously a conversion left best to the bogans .
They're quite a light car in sedan or estate form. If it was my choice i'd go for a N/A or turbo Rotary, both cool.

Chop an inch or so out of the legs too, makes them millions sweeter
Hmm, Find some 14" interceptor style steels and bang them out to 7" or 8" i reckon, then bare metal the centres and let those puppies rust
