Sweet job mate, you've really stepped it up a notch from what i built it from! excuse some of the previous work as the actual conversion was completed in 1day!
Hope that engine is ok! it was found in an old crown sitting in the next doors yard for $250.
Motor is actually pretty peppy for what it is, some cams or something and more boost would be great
-
looking awesome bro, keen to catch up for some a01's
-
good to see this car still going strong, you are doing it justice! DO no stand for it being called a cressida!
-
pick a part doode

-
shit that looks pretty sweet man, could look into that
-
less sounds, moar 1j sounds.

The car is covered in Emamel paint from previous jobs, i figure the best thing to do is Stip all of this off,
Anyone know of a real strong industrial paint stripper? Also after it is metal what process do i take? i have a rough idea but any thoughts would be great.
paint wise, im heading towards a 2k with clear over top, base coat seems very exp?
Also im sick of being jibbed at local paint supplier for a "trade" discount which i know is fuk all like 10 % off, how can i suss a better rate?

answer my q. btw my one rules. stop farting into a bottle and 1jz plus r154. you will not regret 200kw of 1j beauty
-
dam where did you get the handbrake set up? I really need one
-
Dude fuck the brakes off, get larger single pots.
Wheels will rule the car, brakes wont.
-
actual homoseckual included.
-
this rules on steel's. full stop.
leave BBS to euro trash,
Or get some 5 stud SSR mk 1's or similar.
-
There's a place in wellington that will make and fit new outer lips to some exsiting wheels, like some ssr XR4 or mark 1, II or II wheels.
Cost is approx 250 each, so cost will be apwards of $1500, IMO best money you can spend, rims make the car and will hold there value.
-
got loads of room. can do for a box a week hehe
-
do you mean weed waka? Btw this is not a cressida, far more class involved in this thing,
Rims are a disaster.
Everything else is looking good tho.
2jz-ge is a good option, i vote no turbos.

Wiring should be pretty basic. Although the newer style engines like the 1ggte use a ECU switched relay labled "MREL", this relay is required to run the B+ circuit to the comp, It times out and allows the Idle speed valve to reset back to its Original position. Other than that, Theres not alot of wiring required, prolly just run ya fuel pump of a IG ON relay, along with the Ignition circuit (coils and Ignitor)
