There was one up here for sale for a while, and one at the burnout comp show n shine in dargaville. Mk3 2 doors are secks!
-
Nope just the l bracket type mounts on the 2L and the 1600 rad has the same but extended like a reverse shroud if you get what i mean, no adjustment orother mounting spots. Plus there soldered on so to move the rad i'd still have to bring it in to a rad shop so might as well use the mounts that will fit sweet.
-
Nar its cortina, the mounts on the 1600 were longer to bring the radiator towards the fan, but with the 2L in i need to use mounts that will sit it as far forward as i can. I've got the mounts off the shitty 2L rad and puttin them on the 1600 one, which are the same except the outlets i think.
-
I didnt tack the radiator to the car just the mounts onto the radiator
-
Nar i've gotta swap some mounts off a fucked radiator onto my good one, theres actually a few local shops, just they don't advertise or have shut down. Will just ring around. Cheers dude.
-
It should run at 0 btdc but it'll run like shit, i'd say that would work, havn't used elec. dizzy so can't say for sure. If you've got a timing light or can borrow one then give it a try?
-
Hmmm rad shop gonna be a mish, fuck all places like that up here. Whangas mission me thinks
-
Whats the best way to attach mounts to a radiator, tryed tacking it with the mig on a shit radiator and on the lowest setting just went straight through. Anyone know what to do/use?
-
Whats the static timing set at? Don't they change quite a bit when there running same happens on Kents.
-
Good shit dude, awesome build.
-
Chris is the man, short drive from my place, got me in parts that he didn't stock anymore as a one off from the supplier. Pretty cheap to.
-
Yer im pretty sure they would be, my mate sometimes orders holden parts for his rb20 and there exactly the same.
-
It says it'll do 7mm but in reality your looking 4mm-5mm, but fuck your not gonna need it for that much heavy shit automotive wise, unless your making mounts etc.
-
Sweet, wasn't sure if it'd restrict anything though
-
120's sweet, what brand is it? Gas or gasless? Personally i would't bother getting a tig for panel work, migs all good and as long as you get your setting etc right you can get some nice work, just don't put to much heat into the metal.
-
Is it sweet to run a fuel filter before the mechanical pump on a pinto or does it have to be between pump and carb?
-
Depends which way you wanna go, secondhand will be cheaper but you're just replacing used parts with used parts, reconditioning should give you the guarantee that it won't fuck out again any time soon.
-
Nar its "Phat drift styles" cracked me up when i saw it.
-
Sam Peters folks tyre shop? Her older brothers got a Rotary Starlet.
-
I'm with CaM on taht one, but as long as you don't claim it to be original then its sweet, like if you have an ae85 and do the 86 conversion and it ends up performing better than an 86, its still an 85 tis just a bangin one at that.

Teh 1600 diffs have bigger drums on the back if i remember right, 9 inch instead of 8, and were a lower ratio as well?
-
[POOOZ] on a new model navara
-
Yo Chubbs, i picked those 2 engines up, and BJ is keen on the flower. Still free to take away?
-
Your car suits yours better, I've gotta lower mine further still, its going down another 2inches at the back or so and I'll massacre the front springs. Anyone got a spare hubcap?...
I got some if you're keen?
