TRUE!!!!! Thats just fucked production saloon and streetstock grades, been against EFI being allowed since day one. Another thing that is fucked with speedway saloons is the 20yr age limit.......but speedway is now very ghey in my eyes, OS fo' life now.
To be honest, thats a pretty uninformed statement there chief. I dont know alot about Production saloons as they dont race at my local track (id rather watch paint dry than watch them anyways), but streetstocks numbers in the north island are dwindling to a critical point. The introduction of EFI is going to revive the class. Streetstocks are predominantly HQs, old school commodores, Falcon XDs or some EAs , an a few valiants, now lets be honest how long are parts for these models going to be available, apart from the EA maybe. Everyone knows the rarer the parts the more the prices go up.
Streetstocks is suppose to be a entry level class so if donor vehicles and part prices go up your average Joe Public cant afford to race.
So with the EFi rule being introduce it opens up a massive amount of makes and models aloud. There was a R32 skyline built and raced in Palmy the season just gone, which promotes streetstocks to your 'jappa' fans. The more cars in a race the better racing there is for fans and racers.
Speedway gets a bad rap for being a "bogan" scene, and its stupid comments like that that influence potential fans opinions

that urethane will be laregely unremoveable, without taking half the paint with you, or leaving the badge behind, unless you get a semi soft one.most panelbeaters would jsut use the hard type as used by windscreen installers for stick-in-screens
Urethane is pretty sticky shit, used it for everything( made rubber cap for work boots), will do mega job on badges, an its pretty flexible after its dry, Ok on paint. Its designed for gluing windscreens so designed to be on paint

Countach is mega IMO whether it be a replica or not. Childhood dreams styles

Were told yesterday at speedway he has slight feeling in his legs now,
The passed the hat around last night, to help him on his road to recovery, looked like everyone was being pretty generous, i slipped in a lazy 10er.
Also the $500 prize money from the demo derby was donated to him.
Now that all these accidents have happened, the are craking down on safety, but they are wrecking to sport. I raced a mates stocky last nite, we were told to take the contact easy, stockcars are suppose to be full on contact for fucks sake, Even talking about banning Derbys.
Once again cockfaces trying to ruin everyones fun
Ive heard that the Police are trying to lay charges on the sidecar that hit Matts (Two days late) cousin, ITS RACING FOR FUCKS SAKE
my rant over sorry

hey dude, i was there on Friday night. They had just won the race, he just seemed to fall off the back of the bike at the end of the straight, he tumbled for a bit, then got collected by the 2nd placed bike. Was a pretty sickining thing to see, the crowd went completely silent.
I used to race a stockcar, and have been rolled, bowled, but id never want to swing on a sidechair for all the money in the world.
Those guys have got some real Nads to race with NO brakes
Good luck to your cousin in his recovery dude

Hey dude, im 99% sure this was one of my good mates cars. He has posted on here occasional.
He bought it about 2 years ago, an had it for maybe 8 months. He did a fair bit done to the engine, e.g. flash cam, head had work done on it. He never got it to run right so he sold it.
He had big plans for it (like everyone does). He had a glass wide body kit for it, and other shit i cant remember.
It even might be on the projects section under his name
