What are the best ways to get rid of the front camber on Valiants after lowering them?

I've had a wheel alignment at Bridgestone but that didn't last long at all, driving around damaged chch roads probably hasn't helped with it much though. How often should I be getting wheel alignments? Any good places to go to in Christchurch?

I've been told you just have to deal with it but after going through 2 front Eagers in 1 year (only really driving weekends) I wanna do anything I can to get rid of the camber apart from putting the height back up as I like how it sits at the moment.

I work for Autobend in the production side of things, our laser cutter has a 3000x1500 bed so can do most things, currently we're transitioning from an exhaust supplier to more of an engineering workshop (within our limits of course since we don't have a lathe/mill etc) due to exhaust sales dropping in recent years. We've just got a brand new CNC bender and a waterjet cutter being installed at the moment too so looking forward to see what we can do with that.

Give me a PM if you want me to price it for you, I would expect around the $40/50 mark though.

OK, our sizes around there would be 38.1mm, 41.3mm or 44.5mm OD (sizes that fit our tooling)

The problem with bending aluminium is that it work-hardens over time so most of the time stock lengths you get from Ullrich etc will just snap straight away when trying to bend it.

If you don't have any luck give me a PM as I work at Autobend and should be able to help you out with something and I hope we would be cheaper than Ullrich since we actually supply them with various sized bends.

Very nice Val man, I'm still so confused as to why someone would get the wheels widened that way though.

Tridents and Eagers looking tough as man, I had Bridgestone Select on Moorhouse Ave do my wheel alignment while I was getting new Eagers, they didn't have too much trouble with it although I've heard good things about Chamberlains too.

Such a sweet car! Always loved XA's ever since my old man had one when I was a kid, I would happily swap my Valiant for one too.

Is anyone on here handy with a welder and a paint gun and keen to do a cash job on my Valiant? I saw a thread on here not too long ago but I can't find it now.

I highly recommend Mr Muffler on Garlands rd in Woolston for a nice cheap job, they put a new exhaust in my 1300 mk2 escort for around $200 and a whole new system for my 4age ae70 corolla for around $350. This was a few years ago now but I would assume they wouldn't be too much more than that.

Looks mint man, I'm interested to see what it'd look like that low on the mags you've got.

Sure is! That was an awesome cruise, I like the variety of cars there and we got to go for a drive on the new unfinished part of the southern motorway which was pretty sweet.

Saw a sweet Crown at Hokitika Wild Foods, late 70s shape sedan twin headlight, it was a minta in a light blue colour, dammit I wish I got a photo of it.
