  1. Ok i loaned my transporter out to someone and its come back damaged, need someone with a good sized welder/grinder to do a home job for me.

send me a message if you are interested but you must be able to cut and weld structural the main chassis sections of it and straighten out a bit etc....

Cash job for anyone that can do it, plus who ever does it will be able to borrow it when they need once repaired.

  2. Hi all, does anyone out there have any manuals etc to do with a Crypton 440 Cruise mate auto tuner and also a Crypton 270 Emission Analiser or similar

Any help with user manuals etc would be great, even if its just to borrow and copy.

  3. Well you dont have to come....its an old school meet as it states above, and if nobody wants it then no prob.

But i dont realy see anyone else tryn to sort out a decent local meet n greet.

If you guys want this to happen then post it here, im more than happy to do it but people need to be there for it to be worth doing.

  4. Ok guys i have been chatting to a few of you and like me you are sick of being labeled "Boy Racers", so how about we set up a big display somewhere like down at the lake to show the public we are not racers but Old School Car Owners. i mean something from 10am - 3pm on a sunday.

I will arrange a spot by the lake or similar for us to put on a show of our cars, those on the road - project cars - race cars etc, drive it there, tow it, trailer it only if there is enough support. We want all the local and as many out of town cars there on show, dosnt matter if its a rough one or show car we want all sorts of old school cars on display.

Ill bring my classic and race car, my daughters classic and a few others so who is up for this.

Not sure of date as yet and it can only happen if there is enough support.

So are YOU up for a display to show who we are and what we are ?????

  5. Most of what these guys are telling you is true, having spent 10yrs towing caravans and salvage trailers around the north island you do need a big tow wagon to pull up without brakes. also if you do make one go tandem and as low as you can get it but also as wide a deck, nothing like going to get a car and finding it dont fit up on the trailer !!

Mine is about 25 yrs old now and is 4.3 mtr by 2 mtr deck and there are still car i cant fit on it.

dont use rocker suspension use duratouques mine had rocker and as soon as it got a flat it ripped the tyre up, its now a solid lowloader and much better, can even tow on 3 wheels...lol....also get "2" spares for it you just never know.

Aslo remember the tow vehical MUST weigh more than the trailer and whats on it!!! and yes there are new reg's about how much you can tow and with what, look it up at transit NZ, my car and trailer with race car on it weigh in at about 3300 on the road, ready to go to track.

  6. Hey guys iv towed small car trailers, large ones and all sorts, but towing with a A frame i didnt like because it will push you and it scuffs the front tyres of the car on thee frame, if you want to go this way use a braked dolly with steering, iv done it and found it was like towing large braked trailer.

check out on the net there are plans for braked and steering dollys, go this way instead of A frame.

  7. Hey guys im looking at leasing a workshop in Hamilton to rebuild my car and store a couple of others, also live in it as I go (i have a large camper) but will need one or two others who are interested in having a workshop full time to share the cost.

If your interested message me and we will see what we can do. unless you already have one and are looking for another tenant then message me.

  8. Well so long for this lot for me, got a reply back about roll protection...All competing cars must

have a MANZ approved roll cage" so its fully MANZ racing. Anyway these cars are modded to hell n back, not budget racing as I see it.

Im off back to look at Historic racing.
